This year, on the commemoration day of the Armenian Christian Genocide, Pope Francis referred to it as a genocide. In response, Turkish President Erdogan accused Pope Francis of using crusader language for calling this mass killing of Christians a genocide. Turkey and Azerbaijan continue to attack the first Christian nation, occupying Christian territories, and destroying the oldest and most important churches for Christians worldwide. In this way, they are erasing Christianity from the Caucasus, where it started in 301 AD. This ongoing issue is very important for Christians to talk about, to protect, and to stand with Christians in Armenia.✝️🙏🏻
Christian groups are facing a historic decline in Americans' church attendance, a pressing issue that many believe should be addressed through the unity of Christians. This highlights the need for a collective effort to rejuvenate faith and community engagement. Unified initiatives could include collaborative outreach programs, combined worship services, and joint community service projects that demonstrate the core values of Christianity. Through unity, Christians can strengthen their collective voice, address the underlying causes of declining attendance, and work towards a revitalized and inclusive church experience.✝️🙏🏻

His Holiness Pope Francis states that Armenia, as the first Christian country, holds a unique place and role in world Christianity and civilization.
Armenia, being the first Christian nation, spread Christianity throughout the region. The teachings of Christ were disseminated from here, and Armenia is home to the oldest Churches and Monasteries in the world, each holding significant historical importance for Christian nations.
Share in the comments, which Churches you have visited and what you would like to know about this Christian nation.✝️🕊️

The Christian Armenian Genocide is not over. On September 19, 2023, Azerbaijan attacked Nagorno-Karabakh and forced out its entire Armenian Christian population. Now, this nation is in danger, targeted by Azerbaijan and its ally, Turkey. Today, they once again face persecution but continue to defend Christianity and Christian heritage sites. This means that we, as Christians, should support those who defend our faith and heritage. We must stand by our Christian brothers and sisters.🙏🏻🕊️
Khoranashat Monastery was built in the first half of the 13th century and served as one of the main educational, scientific, cultural, and theological centers of medieval Christian Armenia. Located in the Tavush region, it stands only 500 meters from the border with Azerbaijan. The monastery is home to two churches: St. Astvatsatsin and St. Kiraki. Historically, it was a center for the illumination of manuscripts, including the Bible of Khoranashat.
Currently, Khoranashat Monastery is under threat of destruction and is not safe to visit. Two years ago, a Christian was shot by Azerbaijani villagers near the monastery. Christians should unite to preserve one of the oldest Christian monasteries.🙏🏻
Supporting Armenia, the first Christian nation facing persecution, is crucial for strengthening the global Christian community and advocating for peace. By standing with them, we uphold the values of our faith and support a nation that has been a beacon of Christianity for centuries. Armenia's struggle is a fight for all Christians facing oppression. Providing aid and spreading awareness about their plight reinforces our commitment to protecting and supporting our fellow believers. In doing so, we honor our shared heritage and contribute to a stronger, united Christian community.🙏🏻🕊️
The world's first Christian nation, has faced relentless challenges throughout its history, including persecution, genocide, and geopolitical isolation. Despite being landlocked and blockaded by neighbors Turkey and Azerbaijan, Armenia's Christian spirit remains unbroken. The recent conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh has further strained its resources, yet Armenia continues to uphold its Christian faith. This unwavering commitment to Christianity, despite immense adversity, serves as a powerful testament to the enduring power of faith and the resilience of Christians. This nation's survival reminds the world of the struggles and triumphs of a nation steadfastly committed to preserving Christianity against overwhelming odds, embodying the strength and perseverance of the Christian community throughout history.🙏🏻✝️
For over 1700 years, the Armenian Apostolic Church has been a cornerstone of Christianity. It has endured occupations and genocide, standing firm as a defender against internal and external threats.
Today, it faces similar challenges. Despite these, the Armenian Church remains a pillar of resilience, safeguarding Christian identity and heritage in the face of adversity.✝️
The Christian Armenian Genocide, which began in 1915, is not over, as the persecution Christians faced over a century ago echoes in the experiences of 2023 and persists unabated. As the first Christian nation, these Christians have built the oldest Christian cathedrals, many of which are being systematically destroyed in contemporary times. This ongoing assault on Christian heritage and Christian people signifies that the genocide has not ended. As Christians, it is our moral duty to advocate for the cessation of this genocide and to support the preservation of Armenian Christian heritage and their right to live without fear of persecution.🙏🏻✝️
Azerbaijan is deepening its plan to occupy Christian Armenia with concrete steps.
They claim that Armenian Harichavank Monastery, built in the 7th century and located in Armenia’s Shirak province, is a cultural heritage site belonging to Azerbaijan.
The Christophobic policies of the Azerbaijani authorities are clearly demonstrated. This is why Christians should stand for each other and help each other.
America's founding was deeply intertwined with Christian values, as the nation has long been influenced by Christian principles. However, today, the idea that America is a secular nation is being increasingly promoted, challenging the notion of a Christian foundation. This push towards secularism has contributed to a perceived decline in Christian culture, which some argue is detrimental to the nation's moral fabric and historical identity. It is evident that distancing America from its Christian roots undermines the spiritual and ethical framework that has long guided its society.

In response to the ethnic cleansing of Christian Armenians in Artsakh in September 2023, Congressman Frank Pallone, alongside Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, proposed a significant increase of $100,000,000 in U.S. funding for Armenia. This vital support aims to assist Christian Armenian victims who were forced to flee their ancestral Christian homeland amid Azerbaijan’s brutal attack. As Christians, we must continue to stand in solidarity with our persecuted brothers and sisters, upholding the values of compassion and support for those in desperate need 🙏🏻🇺🇸
Take Action 🚨 Urge Your U.S. Representative to Protect Ancient Christian Heritage Sites!
Armenian Christian heritage sites in Artsakh, dating back to the 4th century, are facing severe threats of destruction. These sites are among the oldest Christian heritage landmarks in the world, and their preservation is at risk due to current conflicts and destructive forces.
As Christians, we can help by contacting our U.S. Representative and urging them to support the preservation efforts led by Rep. Schiff. Share this call to action on social media and with your community to amplify the message. Your voice can make a difference in saving these irreplaceable pieces of Christian heritage.✝️🙏🏻
As the first Christian nation, Armenia has a long history of preserving and spreading Christianity, often in the face of immense persecution. American Christians, recognizing the shared faith and values, have historically supported their Christian brothers and sisters. Today, as Christian Armenia faces renewed challenges, we reaffirm our commitment to stand in solidarity, ensuring that the light of Christianity continues to shine brightly.🙏🏻✝️🇺🇸

In America, Church attendance has seen a decline as many Americans no longer perceive the value that Christianity brings to their lives. This shift reflects a broader societal trend toward secularism and a growing disinterest in traditional religious practices. However, Christianity offers much more than just spiritual guidance; it fosters community through fundraising efforts, promotes education through Bible study, and emphasizes the inherent goodness of people.🕊️
As an American Christian, why should I care about the persecuted Christians in Armenia?
Armenia is the first nation to accept Christianity as a state religion. Christian Armenians have safeguarded Christianity for centuries. Engaging with this country and its people fosters a deeper understanding of global Christianity and strengthens the bonds within the Christian community.
By supporting this nation, American Christians can enrich their own faith experience, learning from the resilience and spiritual depth of Armenian Christians, and reinforcing the unity of the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:26).🙏🏻✝️

Today's Freedom House report makes clear that Azerbaijan acted with genocidal intent to forcibly displace the Christian Armenians of Artsakh.
The remedy to this crime is the universally recognized right of return, under an international mandate, protected by international peacekeepers.
As Christians, we should urge the President and the White House to stand with the Christians and save them. So please, tag your senator, president, and congressman to save Christian lives.

In September 2023, Azerbaijan ethnically cleansed over 120,000 Christian Armenians from their Christian homeland, Artsakh. The Azerbaijani government has destroyed and continues to destroy Churches dating back to the 4th century, cemeteries, and other holy sites, committing egregious acts of ethnic cleansing against Christians.
As Christians, let us come together to bring this crisis to the forefront and ensure that the voices of Christians everywhere are heard worldwide.
Christian Americans once stood and saved Christian Armenians, and they should do so again. As the first Christian nation, Armenia shares a profound bond of faith with American Christians, rooted in a history of mutual support and shared persecution. During the genocide of 1915, the American Church rallied in an unprecedented fashion to collect and send aid to Christian Armenian refugees, efforts that "quite literally kept an entire nation alive." This legacy of compassion and solidarity calls for renewed commitment in the face of ongoing challenges.
By standing with Christian Armenians today, American Christians promote justice and peace, embodying the enduring principles of Christian fellowship and global responsibility.🙏🏻

The Holy Etchmiadzin Cathedral, built in 301 AD, stands as a testament to the divine mission of spreading Christianity.✨
Saint Gregory the Illuminator received a vision where Jesus Christ marked the sacred location with a golden hammer. This profound event established Etchmiadzin as the epicenter of the Armenian Apostolic Church and a pivotal site for the dissemination of Christian teachings. 🕊️
From this cathedral, the doctrine that Christ became a perfect Man without ceasing to be God was taught and spread by missionaries far and wide. Despite numerous challenges throughout history, Etchmiadzin has remained a steadfast symbol of faith, resilience, and the enduring legacy of early Christianity.⛪️❤️
