The reality is it’s got nothing to do with that, all those fanbases are attached to Arsenal being a “banter club” and the club actually becoming competitive and ultimately winning again destroys their entire world view they’ve built for two decades.
do you know how jarring you have to be as a fan base to unite villa, city, liverpool, chelsea & spurs fans

I’ve always felt that the referees in this country have a main character complex, they want to be visible, be seen, have their 15 minutes and have everyone know their name when the best refs are the ones that you don’t notice, they’re far too concerned about being personalities

I see why there are no superstar wingers in EPL and why English talents become rigid/finished or injury prone at 25.

People thinking there’s nothing wrong with the tackle is why Sunday League is basically unplayable in this country.

Football is in a weird place when Dowman's reaction to that tackle is deemed a more violent/punishable offence than the tackle itself. Two yellow cards would have been fine. Arteta's response was as disproportionate as the referee's decision to show red. telegraph.co.uk/football/202…

There was more grounds to send off the tackler than there was for Dowman to be sent off. The ref made the incident bigger than it needed to be because he wanted to be the star of the show, a yellow card and warning for all involved would’ve sufficed
Reviewing the Max Dowman Red card this morning on @SkySportsNews No chance a red card and “Violent Conduct”. Watch the incident up close you can see how minimal the movement of his foot is. A reaction yes, but no chance a violent one.

Luke Shaw double leg break from a scissors challenge. This is what Fleetwood's Harrison Neal tried to replicate on a 16 year old Dowman. Thug deserves to get beaten up.

As a Liverpool fan myself ( have no interest in Arsenal ) I don’t agree with you. Horrible challenge that on the kid , could have broke his leg , he reacted like anyone would , he’s only 16 and the dirty bastard who went in on him was bang out of order and should have gone

Am I the only one who thinks Dowman actually reacted really well here? All he did was nudge him to free his leg after receiving a really nasty challenge that could’ve broken his leg/torn his knee if his studs got stuck in the turf, I’ve seen players completely crash out for less

Niggas call others broke whilst rage bait xeeting on this app so they can get some of Elons dollars to buy ramen noodles so they don’t starve, this is nothing but a projection.
Saka Dey use android phone? So some footballers are broke😳😂💔
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The phone seen here is the Google Pixel 11 Pro, which is currently going for $1,099. Someone who is "broke" would likely be unable to afford such a phone. bestbuy.com/product/google…

This is why England haven’t won anything since 1966 and always fall short, technical players are still never protected and allowed to be assaulted on the pitch without punishment. Physicality over technicality is STILL the identity & it’ll hold us back from getting over the hump.
