Lineup for tonight’s game. Caleb Jones just scored an acrobatic overhead kick from 25 yards out after 9 mins. Bootle keeper injured after clearing a header. Who needs Ibrahomivic when you have Jones.

Burscough football club are absolutely delighted to announce the signing of Matty Brown. Our 3rd player to sign a contract this summer, a massive signing. Matty can play in a number of positions and will be a huge utility player for us this season. To sign 3 players of this quality on contract is massive for us as a club and shows the ambition we have this year. Welcome to The Linnets Matty 🇳🇬 We’re not finished just yet 😉

🚨 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 🚨 Last night Burscough FC completed the signing of Elliot Taylor from AFC Liverpool! 💚⚽ Elliot arrives at the Community Ground following a phenomenal season, scoring an incredible 46 goals and helping AFC Liverpool lift the Macron Cup. 🏆 Widely regarded as one of the most prolific forwards in the division, Elliot brings goals, quality and a winning mentality to an already exciting squad. His record speaks for itself, and we’re thrilled to have fought off strong competition to secure his signature. Welcome to Burscough, Elliot! 👏 Here’s what 1st team manager Phil Stafford had to say 🗣️ Bringing Elliot to the club is a massive statement of intent for everyone involved at Burscough FC. 46 goals last season speaks for itself. Elliot is the number one marksman in this division and, in my opinion, he has the ability to play much higher and still produce the same incredible numbers. He’s a great lad off the pitch, which is just as important, and he’ll add even more quality, experience and goals to what is already a very strong squad. To fight off interest from clubs much higher up the non-league pyramid shows just how far this club has come and where it can go. It’s a testament to the hard work being done by Jay and the committee behind the scenes. The club is fully backing this project, and that ambition was a huge factor in bringing Elliot to Burscough. I can’t wait to get started and see what we can achieve together this season. 💚⚽️ #UTL #BurscoughFC #NewSigning #WelcomeElliot #NonLeagueFootball #MacronCupWinner 💚⚽🔥
