That’s because “stopping Iran from getting a nuke” is not more important than losing our country. No. One. Cares.
The thing that disgusts me about the "We lost because of Iran, MAGA is over, tear it all down" crowd is that I cannot find a single one of them who acknowledges that stopping a nuclear Iran might be more important than any midterm election. Have the decency to acknowledge these facts: 1. Iran declared war on the USA in 1979. 2. We have been dealing with this reality fecklessly since that time. 3. The Iranian mullahs are not rational actors. They want nukes so they can USE THEM to precipitate Armageddon and bring forth the Twelfth Imam who will miraculously arise from a well in Qom and forcibly unite what is left of humanity under Shia Islam. 4. Trump may have had intel that said he needed to act before it was too late, midterms be damned. I ACKNOWLEDGE that the Iran War likely cost us the election. Why can't YOU acknowledge that Trump may have had no choice and acted bravely for the greater good of humanity? WHY DO YOU REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS POSSIBILITY?

Ah. Got it. Like feeding slop to a hog.
The real way MAGA works. Lobbying firms pay “influencers” to push talking points. Susie would have staffers print out tweets going viral (via bots) by “his biggest supporters” to show Trump that an issue mattered to the base. This is why you got fucked and they got richer.

This week is why I'm tired of hearing about Tucker Carlson. Three people got spectacularly wealthy by their proximity to Trump - Susie Wiles, James Blair, and Chris LaCivita. It was their job to win the midterms. They failed catastrophically. Yet my timeline is full of Tucker this, Nick Fuentes that. Was it Tucker who sold MAHA out to Bayer and gas station heroin companies? Was it Fuentes who said that mass deportations were unpopular, and that Trump should stop them? Was it Candace telling Trump that 94% of MAGA supported the Iran war? Was it Comic Dave Smith saying that Trump should tell people who wanted the Epstein files to be unsealed to sit out the midterms? Did they take $10,000,000 a year for 5 years for a "job" - corruption of such unbelievability that it wouldn't clear the writers room of the Sopranos. We are such a childish culture that we don't know how to appoint accountability. Or are afraid to. People go after Nick and Tucker because it's safe. Nobody will lose their access to the White House. Nobody will have the goon squads coordinate in group chats about them. Some may even be rewarded by head pats or maybe receive a small allowance from a billionaire donor. Where as if you bring up corruption within the White House, there's a problem. Admin figures won't go on the YouTube slop shows. You won't get invited to events. I was specifically black listed from the Easter Egg roll. That's how petty these people are. My kid couldn't go the White House because I wouldn't shill for the Iran war. Anyone who spends their time on Tucker / Candace / Nick while never reporting on the real corruption and self-enrichment are telling on themselves. They sold their souls to stay in the good graces of very disgusting people. They sold you out. Now none of this means you shouldn't criticize anyone. I don't like that Tucker calls himself "just a podcaster." I don't call myself an "influencer." Like it or not, we have a higher calling from God. People are modeling themselves and forming their worldviews on what they read and watch and listen to. This doesn't make anyone responsible for what someone else does, but we should all feel a heavy weight each night. We should feel inadequate to the task. Like we failed somehow, but will nevertheless wake up the next day and do it all over again. Even so, what exactly can Tucker (or I) do? He can't control information flow to Trump. He doesn't come from a lobbying shop that made $100,000,000 last year and this year, and that has richly rewarded him. I sometimes watch his show and see his posts, most of the time I don't. That's not shade or negging. Nobody is reading all of my posts. Let's be real here. Everyone is busy. Every day, James / Chris / Susie have access to Trump. They are rich beyond your wildest dreams. What did they do with this power? Why doesn't anyone ever ask about *that*? We all know why. There are real consequences to taking on the big industries that we were sold out to. They'll plant stories, send out group chats to go after you, try getting you fired, and threaten to kill you. The good news of an ass kicking is that there's no way to rationalize it. A close election could have led to excuse making. We are now facing a disaster. TEXAS IS BLUE. Because Grassley and the Senate refused to modify outdated rules, Democrats are in control of Cabinet appointments for at least the next 4 years. There are people responsible for this. Very rich and powerful people. Let's see more discussion of them.

The Right STILL hasn't processed the depth of this loss. It will likely be TEN years before they can win back the U.S. Senate, no less than six years. Even IF they win the presidency in 2028, their ability to govern is minimal. The census is fooked. Democrats will lock you out of the House now, something the Right could have done to them and governed for 30 years. THAT is how you actually "save a country" instead of fighting wars of choice because your donors are loyal to a foreign nation. How much will the debt clock add in that time? How much more damage will be done to the demographic clock? You lost Texas, your electoral King of the Board. Checked and cucked! And you cucked yourselves. In fact, I just want to take a second to highlight the super cucked evangelical "leader" community. A group of heretic pastors who literally sacrificed the Christian identity of our nation for a foreign nation who has corruptly showered them with small fortunes since the late 1970s to pervert faith with suicidal foreign policy. Hagee, Falwell, Robertson, and all their heretical thought lineages, congratulations! You got your doomsday. It's just not the version you thought, where in your hubris you convinced yourselves for a modest fee that you'd force God's hand and plan. You just sold out your own faith and nation. You're all going to be remembered as traitors and historians will mock and scorn you as the cuck sellouts you are.
Unfortunately, because of the sheer depth of the losses incurred for Israel and the war lobby at the ballot box on Tuesday, we are likely to be the U.K. It will be at least six years before Republicans have ANY opportunity to win the U.S. Senate, likely a decade before they do.

Who cares. If any of this were true then this was Germany and France and the UK’s problem. I would rather Iran have nuclear weapons than lose my country. I do not care.
Wow. Senator John Kennedy. How is this not everywhere. Seriously. This is insane. Listen to what he’s actually saying.

I would go one step further. No NeoCons and no on over 65 get a say anymore. It’s over. You’re done. Find a pasture or an ice flow. I don’t care.
As I told @mattgaetz, the first step for the American Right is to address the damage to their brand by removing neoconservatives from any and all prominent positions of influence. Voters did NOT vote for neoconservatism. Everyone HATES it and will not vote for them, again.

If you were in leadership during the greatest Republican midterm loss in 100 years then you cannot continue to be a leader. Period. End of story. Fire Thune Yesterday.
Mike Johnson: Resigned from House Republican leadership Susie Wiles: Resigned from the White House John Thune must do the honorable thing and resign from Senate Republican leadership immediately

Same as it ever was.
This was always the plan.

Finally! Should not have taken 72 hours.
BREAKING: Donald Trump announces that Stephen Miller is replacing Susie Wiles as Chief of Staff, starting Monday, November 9th.

The 2024 Coalition was the Pat Buchanan and Ron Paul Republicans. The NeoCons can never have a say in Republican politics again. Never again.
Purge the neocons from the party. The Republican Party needs to be the party of Pat Buchanan moving forward.

Conservative Christians were among the biggest losers in this election, and a lot of them chose to be. Many simply stayed home. I’m sure the experts will give us the official reasons in due course, but anecdotally, I’ve heard a lot of people saying they just didn’t like the candidates. Early numbers suggest evangelical turnout dropped 7 points this year from the last midterm cycle. I'm sure the experts will give us the official reasons in due course, but anecdotally, I've heard a lot of people saying they just didn't like the candidates. Responding to this, many Christian leaders have said we're always choosing the lesser of two evils in a fallen world or something like that. Of course, Christians would love to have godly, virtuous people to vote for. People that fit that description are becoming increasingly rare these days, so we've got an electoral supply and demand problem. There's just not a lot of virtuous people running for office for us to vote for. In much of the country, the choice was between a radical leftist or a "conservative" Republican who would have been to the left of Bill Clinton. That was simply a bridge too far for many Christians. Some Christians said, "they didn't earn my vote." So they stayed home. And we ended up with a blue wave. Here's my question: if we want godly, virtuous candidates running for office, where will they come from? Churches. And what have churches been doing the last twenty years to encourage talented young men to run for office? Not much. On the one hand, Christian leaders will lament the lack of virtuous candidates worthy of their vote. On the other hand, godly Christians who might consider a life in politics are warned about the dangers of power and told "Jesus' kingdom is not of this world." You can't expect godly political candidates to seek political power while simultaneously warning them that political power is evil. Our purity tests for political candidates eliminate a lot of options, but we also discourage the men who would pass the test from pursuing office. We tell them they'd be better off serving as missionaries or going to seminary. I'm not against godly men being missionaries or going to seminaries. But somebody is going to run for political office, someone will win, and someone will make decisions. If politically gnostic pastors tell their congregants that seeking office is selfish ambition or sinful "grasping for power," then don't be surprised if the only options on the ballot next election are a Democratic Socialist and a "conservative" Republican homosexual atheist. This is why we lose. And we’ll keep losing until churches start raising up men for public office.

1. Ted Cruz has now joined JD Vance and Ron DeSantis in forcefully criticizing the Iran war and refocusing our attention on the economic circumstances of working class Americans. 2. That’s basically the entire field of Republican candidates for President. 3. And guess what? Anyone else who wants a real shot at being the Republican nominee is going to have to adopt pretty much the same approach. 4. This dynamic has been clearly visible since April, when the Trump administration tacked toward peace talks with Iran in an attempt to save the elections. 5. That was seven months ago. For seven months, we’ve been watching the administration struggling to extract itself from the trap of an ongoing war that the voters didn’t want. 6. The attempt failed—and the voters went to the ballot box on November 3 feeling disgusted, alienated, and betrayed by the Republican Party. 7. Maybe the scale of the voters’ repudiation of the GOP is surprising. But the dynamic that brought about this result is *exactly* the same one that we’ve been watching and talking about for seven months. 8. Maybe you didn’t know that a bitter and alienated public was what the administration was dealing with? Maybe you didn’t know that this was why these hopeless talks with the Iranians were taking place? 9. But if you didn’t know this was the main thing happening in U.S. electoral politics heading into the midterms, it seems like you should be asking yourself: *Why* didn’t I know? How did it happen that I was so completely cut off from political reality in America? 10. And if you’re in an especially introspective mood, you might also ask yourself: How did I behave when people tried to tell me what was happening? Did I try to understand what they were seeing? Or did I just attack anyone who was trying to explain reality to me? —end for now—

Inoffensive Christianity has cost Christians and Republicans the Bible Belt, warns pastor @jchasedavis at @BaptistLeaders: "Many Christians have adopted this mindset not because it is natural to men but because it has been modeled to them from feckless, cucked pulpits by pastors who refuse to feed the sheep the Word and discipline those who stray. They don’t want to talk about politics, homosexuality, immigration, abortion, Muslims, Hindus, etc. They just want to stick to “God saves sinners” and not deal with the downstream implications of that reality. They keep saying “Jesus is neither left nor right” and think it’s insightful."
How could Texas go Blue? Because it is ground zero for "inoffensive Christianity." "It’s a Christianity that seeks to be nice above all else. It still keeps religion and politics out of polite conversation at holidays for the sake of keeping the peace. It trades clear cultural and political stances for pietistic slogans and sentimentality." From @jchasedavis centerforbaptistleadership.o…

Choas = Opportunity
We got crushed on Tuesday and it sucks. But we cleared out a LOT of dead weight from the GOP. That gives us an opportunity to rebuild it with patriots.
