Nobody is going to understand this take but back in the day there was one of the best written shows ever called Friday Night Lights which had the dumbest plot hole of all time
It’s about a top high school football program in Texas and for dramatic purposes every game is like 17-16 with a last second game-winning Hail Mary but all the main characters and top prospects are on offense
How is a team with a running back being scouted by Notre Dame winning games 10-6? Shouldn’t their top prospect be their shutdown strong safety with 37 tackles for a loss, 12 interceptions, and 9 forced fumbles?

I remember when I was growing up and I'd see like Jurassic Park or Shawshank Redemption playing on TNT and no matter what I was doing, I'd have to sit down and watch the whole thing.
