Madrid was home for the entire Cambrian team last week for an epic company offsite. my main takeaways for the future:
- the convergence between AI, crypto and finance is already happening and keeps accelerating. pretty soon, crypto will be just called finance, and end users will leverage it without noticing
- fast, comprehensive and accurate data plays a huge role for financial companies. imagine how it can hurt to manage billions with the wrong data. financial data companies' growth is about to explode
- the convergence between AI, finance, and crypto is accelerating growth for infrastructure companies that enable big players to operate safely at scale
- working with great and super talented people is a privilege, and not common to see these days. if you're playing long-term games with long-term people, be aware that's a privilege!
soon onchain finance will just be called finance

Great panel at @AgenticZero this week in SF. I summarized what's happened in agentic finance during the last quarter:
* We've used hundreds of AgentFi products and highlighted 50 of them that are mature and getting real traction
* Agentic adoption for prediction markets is increasing
* TVL in agentic products has grown $10m during the last quarter (the category was hit hard during the bear market)
* ERC-8004 registered agents have grown by 500k, with BNB leading
* Institutional adoption: Coinbase Advisor, Coinbase for Agents, Robinhood for Agents, Visa & Mastercard with agentic payment push
* Adoption is still led by power users who prefer CLI/MCP integration and Claude Code or Codex. The segment still hasn't cracked the UX for mass retail adoption

Every company will deploy fine-tuned models for their workflows in the coming years. Here's a write-up about our first. It delivers 100x the value compared to an equal performance off-the-shelf model. It allows us to massively scale the amount of text we can evaluate
Going deeper on fine-tuning has been one of the most interesting and fun projects I've been fortunate enough to work on. It's crazy how much innovation is happening right now, as well as just how much you can optimize on when you own a model fully end to end. Our first fine-tuned model that this blog post is about has been live in production for about a month, and internally we have already innovated so much since then, we will have more updates soon.
Have learned a ton in the past ~3 months. Never met anyone as good as @0xsamgreen in making good predictions and understanding how to be competitively positioned as things continue to accelerate. Really excited to keep pushing with fine-tuning and the possibilities, it just sits in a class of its own when it comes to value and performance compared to out of the box solutions, and we will be leveraging that to the maximum to provide the best data products we can at @CambrianNetwork.
