A reminder today that a 🇨🇦 federal court judge in 2023 confirmed that there is NO EVIDENCE against 5 Canadian men currently on death row in Iraq: Quote from Federal Court Judge, Justice Brown, 2023: 'Notably the Respondents [Gov of 🇨🇦] do not allege any of the Applicants engaged in or assisted in terrorist activities. The Respondents affirmed this position at the hearing' '....there is no evidence [of offences against Canadian law including the Criminal Code of Canada] before this Court' So why do @MarkJCarney & @AnitaAnandMP approve death by hanging of 5 Canadians in Iraq? @atRachelGilmore @CanadainIraq

"It became very plain to me that this went beyond judicial testing of the strength of the case into active hostility designed to prevent the case from being developed, with elements of ridicule. It was extraordinary and very unpleasant." craigmurray.org.uk/archives/…

This is not normal. These Palestinian kids deserve everything like your kids Imagine your kid stranded in the rain. Please don't normalize this.

British ‘justice’: this bias seems to me to create the grounds for an appeal to the European Court of Human Rights.
The only ground allowed to be heard in Supreme Court appeal was balance between countering terrorism and freedom of speech and assembly. The judges referenced terrorism, terrorist or national security 60 times. They mentioned freedom of speech zero times. craigmurray.org.uk/archives/…

Last night was one of the worst nights Gaza has seen. The bombs have never stopped raining down on them, and when the actual rain fell upon them, their tents flooded. So many missing limbs, all missing loved ones, most without homes. And the world just pretended it stopped. I didn’t even post an image with people this time because they’re sick of showing us images of themselves in desperation without action on our part. A reminder to you and me to not forget them because they’re no longer in your feed.

Let’s do the actual math of the imperial supply chain. Take a mother working in a garment factory in Bangladesh. She works a 12-hour shift. During that shift, she sews more than 150-200 t-shirts for H&M. Her pay for the entire day? Less than 5 dollars. Now look at the other end of the ledger. H&M takes those exact same shirts and sells them to European consumers for more than 20 Euros each. That is over 4,000 Euros in retail value. Generated by her hands. In a single day. Her cut is less than a fraction of a percent. The rest goes straight to shareholders in Stockholm. What is the human cost of this math? This mother spends 12 hours away from her child. She works until her body gives out. And she goes home to a wage that barely covers the bare minimum food to share with her family at the dinner table. This is what Western "free trade" actually looks like on the ground. The European consumer gets cheap fashion. The corporate boardroom gets record dividends. The Bangladeshi mother gets starvation. H&M runs massive ad campaigns in Europe talking about "conscious" fashion and "sustainability." But there is absolutely nothing sustainable about a system that requires a mother to sacrifice her child's childhood just to keep the company's profit margins intact. This is why the factories are shutting down. They aren't just striking for a few extra cents. They are striking for the right to actually sit at the dinner table with their kids. All power to the striking workers of Bangladesh. They are hitting the empire right in the ledger.
Workers in Bangladesh are shutting down factories and striking for better wages. These workers make clothes for companies like Walmart and H&M on starvation wages. All power to the people! ✊

"I think there are two ways in which people are controlled. First of all frighten people and secondly, demoralise them. An educated, healthy and confident nation is harder to govern." Tony Benn.
BREAKING: BBC has developed a secret emergency broadcasting plan to keep the UK informed if a major blackout or cyberattack shuts down electricity, internet and communication networks. Around 100 BBC staff will operate a special emergency radio studio with independent power, food, water and fuel supplies to keep broadcasts running for at least three days. The plan relies on FM radio, which can continue operating even when internet and mobile networks go down. The UK is also preparing for a potential nationwide crisis, with officials urging the country to be ready to withstand a major disruption for at least 72 hours.

A reminder that the world supported the genocide in Gaza based on fabricated accounts that 40 Israeli children had been beheaded.

This is sort of akin to someone with appalling halitosis being given an extra strong mint, when really they need their rotten teeth pulled.
🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham says he will introduce 8 "regional water councils" to oversee water companies "For the first time, local people will have a real say over what they need from their water company, whether that's cleaning up polluted rivers or building new reservoirs"

If there’s one country that does not need to spend lavishly on its military, it’s Canada. Yet Prime Minister Goldman Sachs is rushing in the opposite direction. Mark Carney would prefer to spend more money on supporting Washington’s wars of aggression than on the healthcare of Canadians.

All Canadians can relate to this I couldn't get a family doctor for the recent 5 years I lived in Ottawa My middle-class neighbours told me this was my fault, that I should treat finding a doctor the way I would any job application, i.e. do my research, put myself on lists, phone these lists, walk the streets, follow up recommendations Yes, NHS has its problems but at least it doesn't tell you to write a cv when you have a medical problem Now, CSIS, on the other hand shows me lots and lots of care and attention... Lots of lucky Canadians will now receive the same (Will still have to write those cvs for the doctors, though, sorry)
In Canada, you can have a CSIS agent in your community but no family doctor

Lawyers for the UK government today claimed in the Supreme Court that all these pensioners and priests getting arrested was itself an act of terrorism: as it was Palestine Action seeking to overwhelm the justice system. They really did say that!

British parents: Be on your guard! Canada's security agency has been promised $6 billion to enable them to smuggle your children to Syria where they will either be killed or left to rot in stinking camps abroad for the rest of their lives!!!! @AnnelieseDodds @EmilyThornberry @AlistairBurtUK PS - I am not suicidal
Mark Carney’s federal budget promises an approximately 60% increase in funding for CSIS, Canada’s spy agency. The new funding is aimed for CSIS to “expand its presence and capabilities.”

Entonces, 39 + 1987 = 2026 Usa tu edad actual. Ejemplo: Nací en 1982 y tengo 44 años. 1982 + 44= 2026 Ejemplo: Nací en 1958 y tengo 68 años. 1958 + 68 = 2026 🙋🏻‍♂️Muy interesante... Pruébalo tú mismo.
