On October 19, Albertans chose Canada.
pm.gc.ca/en/news/statements/…

ALT Quote by Prime Minister Mark Carney. Text: On October 19, Albertans made a clear choice. They chose unity, to build together, and to take care of each other. Canada is so much greater than the sum of its parts. Now it is our opportunity to take all that we have been given as Canadians – and we have been given the greatest country in the world – and make our country better for all of us.
We are deeply saddened by the tragic fire at CFB Wainwright. We mourn the lives lost, extend our heartfelt condolences to their loved ones, and wish the injured a full recovery. Our thoughts are with the @CanadianForces, and our gratitude goes to first responders and medics.

Canada unequivocally condemns North Korea’s repeated ballistic missile launches this year. These actions, along with North Korea's unlawful nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs, threaten peace, security and stability in the #IndoPacific and violate #UNSC resolutions.

I spoke with Anita Anand this morning (Oct. 7) about ways to advance our bilateral relations and expand practical cooperation.
I emphasized that Korea seeks to broaden and deepen cooperation with capable partners such as Canada, building upon the ironclad ROK–U.S. Alliance, to contribute constructively to the international community. Minister Anand welcomed this approach and suggested that we remain in close communication on our bilateral cooperation.
We welcomed the growing exports of Canadian crude oil and LNG to Korea, which are contributing to the resilience and stability of our energy supply chains, and agreed to explore further opportunities for practical cooperation in areas such as defense and the defense industry, critical minerals, and artificial intelligence.
Minister Anand and I also exchanged views on key regional and global issues, including the Middle East, and agreed to continue working together for peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and in the region.
We will continue working together to translate our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership into substantive and concrete results that deliver tangible benefits to the people of both countries.
