At the Canadian Museum of History, a large quilt is on display. It was made by volunteers with the Women's Auxiliary of the Anglican Diocese in Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan as a fundraiser in 1933. The names of the volunteers are stitched into the quilt's 30 squares.

ALT A quilt displayed in a glass case within a museum or exhibition setting. The quilt features intricate blue stitching patterns, including floral designs and swirling lines, on a light-colored fabric. In the center, there is a small embroidered image of an elephant. Surrounding the quilt are informational panels with text. The lighting highlights the quilt's detailed craftsmanship against a dark background.

At the Canadian Museum of History, you can see the revolver found on Patrick Whelan. Whelan was sentenced to death for killing Member of Parliament Thomas D'Arcy McGee on April 7, 1868. Whelan said he was innocent and knew who had assassinated McGee but he refused to name anyone.
