2. Miami - 2,104
Miami up to #2 on freshman snaps played in the P4 this week.
They’re also the No. 1 team in the country. If you’re a top recruit and not paying attention to what the Canes are doing, you should be.
A consistent trend under Cristobal.

We're not appreciating wha Darian Mensah is doing.
Thru 7 games, other QBs last 20 yrs with...
80% comp: 2025 Sayin, 2008 McCoy
22 PsTD/1 INT: 2021 Pickett, 2019 Fields
2000 psyd & 10 yd/att: 23 P4/5 QBs, 14 who were 1st-round picks
Mensah has done all of them.

Since 2016, there have been 9 WRs to average over 4.0 yards per route run for the season (3 in 2026 so far)
Only Malachi Toney and Jaxon Smith-Njigba have done it with an ADOT below 10.0 yards. Toney's 89.2% reception rate leads college football.
Miami opens a 15.5-point road favorite in a Primetime game against North Carolina.

Miami will be No. 1 for another week, but everything behind the Hurricanes is up for grabs.

Did Mario put a little extra sauce on Narduzzi in that post-game handshake?

Pat Narduzzi on Miami:
"We ran into a buzzsaw ... They're the number one team in the country. They're no joke. They're averaging 45 points a game and they're number 1, number 2, number 3 in just about every damn category. I don't know if I've faced a team [like that]."
#Pitt
And he knew the situation. They are backed up at the goal line. His job in that situation is to lower the shoulder and get what you can get.

But is our OC doing him any favors by running him up the middle, when he's the smallest guy on the field?
This is an inside run team for better or worse this season, especially with the second-team OL in there. I mean you could run him wide and lose five yards because the blocking isn't on time. He's got to stop jump cutting five yards behind the line of scrimmage.

Malachi Toney was a big winner in Miami's 52-23 decision over Pitt, but the secondary did not have a banner day. Click below for winners & losers!

It's on Javian Mallory for performing well with his opportunities and earning more. Pringle isn't getting a lot of touches and he hasn't shown he's earned them either. Guys have to do the best with what they get and they'll get more. He hasn't done that.
Girard Pringle just never got out of the gate this season. Jordan Lyle has started to warm up, but Pringle just can't get anything with the few opportunities he's had.
