🚨New Video Alert
Touts are bad, right? ....Right?!
Why you should keep your friends close, and your touts closer.🤔 (full video link in replies)
Wait. These both happened TODAY.
It's barely 6pm in the east. These people attend college and they don't know how the sport works?!?

I really like the way @roundrobin42's brain works. These products are simple ways to learn gambling theory, without actually gambling (unless you want to).
Incredibly excited to announce nohouse.bet, a completely free (no payments integrated) way to bet on sports vs friends. There are two game modes:
Classic: choose a bet, whoever hits at the longest odds wins
Lineups: buy teams (or bets) and get points for each winner
The fastest NBA injury/lineup news available. What can you do with a minute of lead time ahead of the market? ⏱️
🤔Hmmm...not sure what's up here, but Jeff's articles are typically very enlightening, so take a minute to help him out:
Legit, no joke, need people to answer this with their informed and honest opinion for a story I'm working on for @InGameHQ: Who do you think will win tonight's game?

I'm not sure what's worse:
Those who don't understand probability
Those who don't understand annuity vs lump sum
Those who don't understand taxes
Hopefully some of this is performance art.

Came across this video yesterday - hard to believe it's been 5 yrs since this was published.
It still holds up. I've used this exact same math to exploit many edges like this since I talked about this "dead angle" at Fanduel.

Congratulations to @a_kane47 and the team at @sporttrade_app on finally completing CFTC approval!

In a recent article about 2026 taxes, the Wall Street Journal indicated that Schedule C filers are not subject to the 90% cap on gambling losses. 🤔
Not sure I agree that's the correct interpretation, but it's the internet, many will cite it.

I like the movie ticket analogy. OSB operators always remind everyone that this is just entertainment. Well if I spend $100 at a movie theatre, I don’t have to file this on my taxes. The US should adopt the windfall definition like Canada. Regulated gambling already generates public revenue upfront and since most players lose, it should end there. Of course professional gambling should be subject to income tax, but it should be treated like a regular business. As someone that cares a lot about complying with the law, I remain astonished that PASPA was struck down over 8 years ago and we still have a tax system that forces millions of people to commit tax evasion or pay thousands of dollars to the government that you don’t have. I have talked to lawmakers, auditors, and anyone that will listen, but they all dismiss it because gambling despite the popularity remains taboo and the status quo is just to pretend it doesn’t exist. The media refuses to cover it for the same reason and in general the public at large does not even understand our tax system (it is actually designed to be this way). The governor of IL, a massive gambler himself, still runs a state without any loss deduction. We all just pretend that millions of people being forced to ignore a law is completely normal. Then you have Daniel Wallach and Dustin Gouker (being paid by the OSB industry) celebrating this adverse tax situation. I just don’t get it.
Sports betting forces you to learn 'stuff'🤔
The feedback loop is💰
Both positive and negative reinforcement🙃
It doesn't make for fancy Atlantic cover stories, but one thing that betting does for you is teach you to think in probabilities, @capjack2000 says.
And that can help you in realms far beyond betting.
Oh I disagree! The Super Bowl is on Valentines Day this year. Great opportunity for crossover:

Gambling is entrenched in enough of society already; we don’t need to start normalizing giving slips as Christmas presents.
Evolution doesn't stop evolving. The sharp betting world has gone from odds screens ➡️odds screeners ➡️API fed betting.
If you're not evolving, you're not surviving.
Sportsbooks all over the world are missing out on holiday-themed betting slips.🎅

@HardRockBetHelp Hey, I want to buy a bunch of physical futures slips to give out for the holidays. The problem is - no offense - your tickets look like crap lol. Is there a way to get better-looking slips out of your computer?
