NEW: The building hit by a vehicle this morning with people injured was just outside of a White House checkpoint, but DC911/@OUC_DC dispatched 13 @dcfireems units 17 blocks away. They lost 15 minutes. Even after getting the correct location, dispatchers still blew the address two more times. Do you remember the infant who died when the DC911/@OUC_DC computer crashed in 2024? The chaos and confusion showed DC911 was unprepared to run the 911 center manually. Leadership promised to do better with training for that scenario. The three mistakes surrounding the address of 17th & G NW this morning occurred 20 minutes into a planned shutdown of the computer for an overnight upgrade (listen to the clips below). It's again clear that OUC is still unprepared to operate manually without the computer. Well-run 911 centers practice this skill regularly. As I suggested after the child's death, the @CouncilofDC should demand training records to show how often each shift trains on running the system manually. No one listened. This morning shows the Council still needs to see those records. #FixDC911 @CMRobertWhiteDC @AnitaBondsDC @Janeese4DC @CMZParker5 @CHenderson @charlesallen @ChmnMendelson @BrianneKNadeau @CMFrumin @CMWendellFelder @CMBrookePinto @tweetelissa @RiniSampath @goodweather4dc @cuneytdil @EmmaUber7 @TheArtist_MBS @oigdc @kpattdc @dclinenews @tomsherwood @NFTC_News @RamirezReports @SegravesNBC4 @ANCCostello @johnson4b06 @ANCJonah @MayorBowser @SafeDC @theHillisHome @PoPville @abeaujon @SchreiberSara @CapitalJeff @Brightwoodian @AlexKomaDC @maustermuhle

Thank you to @ANC2B for the opportunity to talk this evening about DC911/@OUC_DC issues. There was a great deal of passion behind their concerns of the continuing OUC problems and the agency's complete lack of transparency. Always glad to join @ANCJonah in his efforts to make DC911 more accountable to the people it serves. Of course, there was significant interest in my report today about OUC confusion causing more than 15 minutes delay in sending EMS to Sunday's deadly Dupont Circle shooting. In another portion of the meeting @DCPoliceDept Capt. Khan further confirmed that officers began CPR on shooting victim Ronnie Massey. Here is the fire/EMS radio traffic and my report - statter911.com/2026/10/21/ma… #FixDC911 @CMRobertWhiteDC @AnitaBondsDC @Janeese4DC @CMZParker5 @CHenderson @charlesallen @ChmnMendelson @BrianneKNadeau @CMFrumin @CMWendellFelder @CMBrookePinto @tweetelissa @RiniSampath @goodweather4dc @cuneytdil @EmmaUber7 @TheArtist_MBS @oigdc @kpattdc @dclinenews @tomsherwood @NFTC_News @RamirezReports @SegravesNBC4 @ANCCostello @johnson4b06 @ANCJonah @MayorBowser @SafeDC @theHillisHome @PoPville @abeaujon @SchreiberSara @CapitalJeff @Brightwoodian @AlexKomaDC @maustermuhle

NEW: @DCPoliceDept doing CPR on a gravely wounded man urgently called for EMS. So, why did it take DC911/@OUC_DC more than 15 minutes to dispatch @dcfireems to Sunday's deadly Dupont Circle shooting? I have some of the answers. History tells us, they could be the only answers you ever get. statter911.com/2026/10/21/ma… #FIxDC911 @CMRobertWhiteDC @AnitaBondsDC @Janeese4DC @CMZParker5 @CHenderson @charlesallen @ChmnMendelson @BrianneKNadeau @CMFrumin @CMWendellFelder @CMBrookePinto @tweetelissa @RiniSampath @goodweather4dc @cuneytdil @EmmaUber7 @TheArtist_MBS @oigdc @kpattdc @dclinenews @tomsherwood @NFTC_News @RamirezReports @SegravesNBC4 @ANCCostello @johnson4b06 @ANCJonah @MayorBowser @SafeDC @theHillisHome @PoPville @abeaujon @SchreiberSara @CapitalJeff @Brightwoodian @AlexKomaDC @maustermuhle

I ask again, "What about the humans?" Since I made this video in May, STATter911 has documented a shooting/trauma arrest, a cardiac arrest, a drowning, a stroke, a patient with chest pains, and a stabbing, where DC911/@OUC_DC made mistakes causing delay and confusion. At least three of the incidents involved deaths. And those are just the ones I know about. DC911 continues to fail the public, but there has been no news coverage. No outrage from city leaders. Just business as usual. But do you remember what happened when the dogs drowned? What about the humans? #FIxDC911 @CMRobertWhiteDC @AnitaBondsDC @Janeese4DC @CMZParker5 @CHenderson @charlesallen @ChmnMendelson @BrianneKNadeau @CMFrumin @CMWendellFelder @CMBrookePinto @tweetelissa @RiniSampath @goodweather4dc @cuneytdil @EmmaUber7 @TheArtist_MBS @oigdc @kpattdc @dclinenews @tomsherwood @NFTC_News @RamirezReports @SegravesNBC4 @ANCCostello @johnson4b06 @ANCJonah @MayorBowser @SafeDC @theHillisHome @PoPville @abeaujon @SchreiberSara @CapitalJeff @Brightwoodian @AlexKomaDC @maustermuhle
