Mobile money and bank rails still don't always speak the same language. A farmer may be paid into a mobile wallet, a supplier into a bank account, and an agent from either. Each rail has its own formats, references and confirmation messages, so a payment that feels simple to the customer can be complicated underneath. Making a payment network agnostic means it does not matter which rail the money travels on. The reference stays the same, the invoice is matched in the same way, and the institution sees one clear record instead of several that have to be reconciled by hand. In this short video, we explain what interoperability really takes, beyond simply connecting two systems. #Interoperability #MobileMoney #FintechFAQ

Benchmarking Digital Trade: In advancing the next chapter of customs and trade digitalisation across Africa, we recently hosted a two-day benchmarking and knowledge-sharing engagement. Zambian government and industry representatives experienced first-hand how digital platforms strengthen customs, freight forwarding, revenue monitoring and operational efficiency. Looking ahead, CapitalPay International remains committed to connecting technology, government and industry to deliver smarter, more efficient and transparent trade ecosystems across Africa.

Today, we honour Mwalimu Julius Nyerere, the Father of Tanzania. His enduring vision of a self-reliant Tanzania and a continent shaping its own future continues to inspire us to build digital infrastructure that strengthens governments, empowers communities and lays lasting foundations for progress.

Safety is everyone’s responsibility In line with Kenya’s Occupational Safety and Health Act, 2007, the CapitalPay International team took part in a two-day Fire and Safety Training, receiving appropriate safety and health information, instruction, and training relating to workplace risks and emergency procedures. Facilitated by the @KRCTI_Kenya Institute, the hands-on sessions built practical skills in fire prevention and emergency response, reinforcing our commitment to a safe working environment for every team member. A prepared team is a protected team. Thank you to the @KRCTI_Kenya for your expertise and practical guidance, and to our team for their full participation. #CapitalPay #FireSafety #WorkplaceSafety #KenyaRedCross #OSHA #TeamCapitalPay @KenyaRedCross @Krcs_NRbBranch @KRCTI_Kenya

From high-vis vests and hard hats to lab coats, scrubs and tracksuits, the team showed up in character, with props, personality and plenty of energy. The outfits may change, but our mission doesn’t. We simplify complex payment ecosystems, connect systems seamlessly and deliver reliable, frictionless service to our partners worldwide. Different roles. One mission. Always going the extra mile. Which transformation took the crown? #CapitalPayClockedIn #CustomerServiceWeek #TheExtraMile #LifeAtCapitalPay #CSW2026

Digital Infrastructure Insights The CapitalPay International team, comprising our Tanzania Managing Director Isack Nchunda and Global Business Development Manager Simba Huni, recently joined a distinguished panel of industry leaders at the East Africa Infrastructure Evening. Hosted by Clyde & Co in collaboration with IPFA and Castor Vali, the event focused on the opportunities, risks and practical considerations shaping major infrastructure investments across East Africa. “We gained valuable insights into the critical role of both physical and digital infrastructure in powering Tanzania’s economy towards a US$1 trillion target. One point stood out for me: the region’s infrastructure story will not be written in concrete and steel alone. This presents a significant opportunity for CapitalPay International to contribute to the development of digital infrastructure that supports economic growth across Africa.” — Isack Celestine Nchunda, Managing Director, CapitalPay International (Tanzania) #Digital
