Today, Council discussed the Long-Range Financial Plan. For me, it was a moment of reflection on our city's $229M annual infrastructure funding gap & the choices that brought us here: Lansdowne 2.0, public-private partnership risks, urban boundary expansion, developer subsidies.
Then when we fight for basic quality of life improvements, we're often told we "can't afford it". I know this city can do better.

Today Council passed my motion, seconded by the Mayor, with a suite of measures to help improve reliability of OC Transpo including adding more para Transpo service, transit priority street changes, LRT freezing rain fixes, more buses and 2 free weekends of service.
