You're losing me here. High ISO would add noise, she'd blow herself out, but the background would also brighten up. The background is really dark. You saying she's under lighting herself and then boosting the ISO?

What makes you say high ISO? If anything I'd assume she has a really low ISO, resulting in a much darker unlit background and she's basically blinding herself. But Im pretty sure she's near a window because there is a white lip of a window to her right behind the mic.
