How it started.....how it is now. Tomorrow is my last day as Captain @SeaCadetsUK and my last day in uniform with the @RoyalNavy It's been an amazing 33 years career and a huge privilege to lead such an incredible team through the pandemic in my final role.

A lovely day on the River Soar today. Went past 2 brilliant @SeaCadetsUK units @SeaCadetsLeic and Loughborough Sea Cadets. The boats all looked great and I loved the Bofors. @Captain_SCC great that these units are on the River supported I am sure by @CRTBoating #boatsthattweet

A lovely message from a parent. "Scott's Sea Cadet BTEC have given him enough points added to his A level results to go onto his History Degree @Liverpool University". One of the many real differences Sea Cadets make in low demographic areas. 😊 @Captain_SCC @SeaCadetsUK @CVQO

Today is #InternationalDayofFriendship thanks to @middchaddscc, @Captain_SCC, @hms_tamar for #SeaCadet shared experiences. UN General Assembly proclaimed this day in 2011 with the idea that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures & individuals can build bridges.

What better way to cool down after an evening of #Kayaking and #Rowing than a Mexican Wave into the lake. It’s always great to see the cadets having fun like this and encouraging each other to ‘give it a go’ too. @SeaCadetsUK @SeaCadetsNW @CrosbyBoatStn @SCCMerWest @Captain_SCC

Best wishes to our Patron, HM The Queen on her 95th birthday today. Her Majesty has been our Patron since 1952, marking her 69th year on the throne as the UK’s longest serving monarch. Have you met The Queen during your time as a cadet or volunteer?
