Totally insane female behavior
Turns out I’m not getting married anymore because I suggested my fiancé gets rid of his ex wife remains.

As someone who hasn’t seriously played WoW since The Burning Crusade, I just want to say that WoW Forever is excellent. It has the best of what you remembered, but everything feels more polished. The graphics have a subtle upgrade, gear actually matters, leveling feels right, and the megaserver community is great. Shoutout to @Blizzard — don’t listen to the nitpickers. You did a fantastic job. Glad to be back, and the Skyborne content is awesome. I already miss my Skyborn Druid and can’t wait to main one at launch.

I understand that the social security conversation is political poison. But I’m not running for office so I don’t care about that. Taking huge chunks out of the paychecks of young working Americans in order to pay for the retirements of older Americans who have a net worth several times higher, all to prop up a system that everyone knows likely won’t be there when those younger people are retirement age themselves, is morally abhorrent and economically insane. Everyone knows it, too, but we’re held hostage by elderly politicians who refuse to surrender power, and older voters who, as a group (with exceptions, obviously), simply don’t care all that much about the financial and cultural future their grandchildren will inherit.

“Your son should have to compete against the top 1% of every third world country for a middle class job in the town he grew up in” is one hell of a take

If your children are unable to compete with others then you’ve failed as a parent.

Texas has a rainy-day fund projected to reach $27 billion. A budget surplus. The largest energy reserves of any state. No income tax. And the Legislature just committed $1.5 billion over ten years in cash grants to Hollywood productions filming in Texas. $300 million every two years. Up to 31% cash back on qualifying productions. Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson lobbied for it personally at the Capitol. Dan Patrick called it a priority. Meanwhile, the average Texas homeowner is still waiting for meaningful property tax relief. Hollywood got $1.5 billion. You get a campaign promise. 💀

At 17? You need to safeguard your children better. If my daughter had a child out of wedlock she would be disowned.

Whole new world after a decade of this. Why it’s so important to keep pushing the GOP in this direction - and you don’t do that by losing!
By the numbers, Trump has the highest ICE arrest rate and largest volume of voluntary departures on record. Asylum grants have fallen to an all-time low, border encounters have flatlined and naturalization has collapsed. This is officially the administration of remigration.

💰 The average American household is carrying $290,000 in debt: •🏠 $200,000 mortgage •🎓 $50,000 student loans •🚗 $35,000 car loans •💳 $5,000 credit cards At an 8% weighted average rate, that’s about 🚨$22,000–$23,200🚨 a year in interest. That’s: •📅 ~$64 a day •⏰ ~$2.65 an hour •⏱️ ~4¢ a minute You sleep 8 hours a night.
That’s ~$636 a month — just while you’re unconscious.
Over a year: ~$7,600 in interest while you sleep. And that’s only the nighttime slice.
The full interest bill is closer to $22,000 a year. ⚠️ All of it is paid with after-tax take-home money. So ask yourself:
what would you do with a $22,000 take-home raise? •🏖️ A real family vacation every year •📈 Max a retirement account •🚨 Build a 6-month emergency fund •🚗 Kill the car note early •🏡 Extra principal on the house And that’s not even including the actual payments.
Interest is just the tax on the debt.
The principal still has to get paid on top of it. Debt isn’t just costing you money.
It’s costing you the life you could’ve built with a $22k raise you already earned — and then gave away.

the vast majority of "Churches" today are far more "modern and secular" than the average atheist. They've totally lost the plot and are Christian in label only.

Modern Christian culture arguably hates men even more than secular culture. Just look at the videos posted by @effectpurpose and others. You'll pretty much never hear anything good said about masculinity aside from perhaps how it benefits other people. Basically, modern Christianity sees Adam as a helper for Eve.

Behind the scenes, the GOP wants both Bo French and Ken Paxton to lose. They represent an insurgency from the base against the Texas establishment that has sold out the state. If they lose, both races will be used as an excuse to shut down future Republican candidates viewed as “radical.” It is imperative that both French and Paxton win.

Back in the late 1800s and early 1900s when millions of immigrants flooded our shores, no paperwork was required to immigrate. No passports, visas, or work permits. Anyone who could afford a ticket could board a ship, arrive in America, answer a few basic questions, and be on their way. They could stay as long as they wanted, work wherever they wanted, buy property, start businesses, and basically do anything any American citizen could do. In fact, in most states, they could legally vote in local, state, and even national elections, subject to the same poll tax, literacy test, or other qualifications required of American citizens. If they wanted to naturalize, they just needed to register their intent and were given seven years to complete the paperwork necessary to become American citizens, which millions of immigrants were proud to do. Things began to change in the 1930s with the advent of social security numbers, and then more so with the Alien Registration Act of 1940, signed into law as a WWII security measure. When the war ended, instead of being repealed, in 1946 it evolved into what we now call Green Cards. In effect, we had completely open borders and the country thrived. In fact, during the decades we now call the Gilded Age—the high-growth period that Donald Trump claims he wants to emulate—our borders were wide open. The reason this worked so well is that we had no welfare state. People came to America for freedom and opportunity only. They came to contribute to our economy, not live off it. They did not drain our resources; they added to them. The lesson is that immigration is not the problem. The problem is the welfare state. Shut off that magnet and America will no longer attract people looking for free stuff. In fact, we need to turn off that magnet for everyone, so those who are looking for free stuff will leave to seek it out someplace else.

We are going to lose the midterms. All that was required to not do so was to not be involved in Iran and rocket gas prices. This was a totally unforced error on Trumps part and if you're pretending it's anything else, you're coping.

Good morning from Noah’s Ark in Eastern Turkey! A few updates: Radar Scans have found 3 layers beneath the surface of the formation, within those layers, there are chambers, corridors, organized patterns and tunnels consisting of perfect right angles. (Genesis says that God told Noah to build the Ark with 3 floors). Scientists confirm the formation is 💯 NOT geological. They say, and I quote, that it is a “man-made object” (one agnostic scientist said he thinks it could even be a space ship? lol) No bedrock has been detected by even the most advanced scans (the same kind the U.S. Military uses to detect 50 meters from the surface. Biggest arguments by skeptics (who have never even been to the site) all claim the formation is bedrock, which we can confirm without a doubt that it is not. The Top (and most exposed) tier is decaying and the hardened mudflow encasing the rims of the boat are basically the only thing holding it together. It’s very fragile (as to be expected with 4,300 year old wood). It was also custom for Silk Road travelers to detour to the Durupinar Formation so that they could take pieces of the exposed wood and pitch to make good luck charms, so some of the top tier is missing entirely. But beneath the surface the bottom two layers appear to still be in tact, and we believe we have hit a floor of petrified wood (to be confirmed). More to come! Please consider supporting Noah’s Ark Scans and their work as they try to raise funds for core drilling and further additional lab testing and soil analysis. Even $25 covers a scientist’s meals for the day. Be a part of history! (Link in first comment below) 👇
