We are releasing Dyna-2.1, the first Physical Agent that achieves reliable super long-horizon whole-body autonomy. It combines our brand-new semi-humanoid hardware with an agentic system built around Dyna-2 to handle ultra-long real-world workflows.
Here is an uncut footage of Dyna-2.1 completing an entire hour-long laundry room workflow, just like a human does.
The world is getting more Rusty
RustGIS v0.2.0 is here!
RustGIS is a fast, free and open-source GIS in pure Rust for mapping, analyzing and sharing geospatial data. It runs natively on Windows, macOS and Linux, and in your web browser. Your data stays on your machine unless you send it to an AI model you choose, and every action is a command you can script.
This release opens far more of your data, even in the browser, adds an MCP server so AI agents can make maps, and reorganises the ribbon around how you work.
What's new in v0.2.0
- More data formats: GeoPackage, GeoParquet, FlatGeobuf, KML/KMZ, GPX, zipped Shapefiles and PMTiles open natively, large files stream a view at a time, and all of them work in the web app too.
- Export anywhere: save layers as GeoPackage, GeoParquet, Shapefile or KMZ.
- SQL with DuckDB: run SQL queries and open DuckDB databases through DuckDB Spatial, and read File Geodatabase, DXF and more through GDAL.
- MCP server: AI agents like Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code can drive RustGIS and make maps with rustgis-cli mcp.
- A ribbon in the order of the work: Home, Data, Style, Edit, Analyze, View and Publish, translated into all 15 interface languages.
- Easy to install and keep current: Homebrew, the AUR, Fedora COPR and winget, plus Check for Updates in the Help tab.

Adulting is a term people who can’t break out of the matrix use to explain away their shitty life their not taking responsibility for
This is what every ai chat app will do in the next 6 months. They will give you personal apps.
I'd call this a bubble in a bubble
Tech people somehow still think normies are not spinning up personal software already
They're not doing it in Claude Code in a terminal like tech people for sure
But their AI chat app is already doing it for them without them even realizing they're building personal software, like generating PDF reports, full web app dashboards and even entire web apps
That will keep getting more advanced and soon ChatGPT will just spin up a Photoshop clone (but ofc only if they need it, preferring to just do their photo edits for them)
Everyone will mostly use personal ephemeral software inside AI chat apps I think
Some software moats will remain like social media (community), ecommerce (think like Shopify and Stripe), etc but they will just be used by AI to build the personal software with
So maybe that's the point here, become a tool agents use to solve their user's problems and charge agents for it (like many are saying)
Man who invents Ruby on Rails discovers Rust 🏎️
I've had agents implement and optimize the Campfire web app in Elixir, Go, and Rust. Yes, Ruby is the slowest. I didn't care about that when the pay-off was huge in terms of productivity and developer joy. But if you're no longer reading the code? github.com/basecamp/once-cam…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The shown benchmarks use non-equivalent implementations: Elixir routes all DB queries through a single GenServer with Redis for jobs (retained from Rails), while Rust uses in-process queues, omits CSRF tags/fields, and applies other caching changes.

The only generation that knows how computers work is also the most relaxed about AI:
Just like you, your agents will get notification fatigue and will need an app to have some peace from the noise
I have not seen near enough excitement about MCP Events developers.openai.com/plugin…
Right now, the only way most people's agents can wake up and do something is either A) cron, or B) you decide to message it
Event-driven triggers are a huge deal
This could be huge if adopted. I have beginning to feel like Frontier agent builders where going to block this to make a walled garden but if this goes through we can really build some compelling stuff without getting locked in

Cool eval. Simply ask an LLM “Land or Water?” and give it a latitude and longitude coordinate as text. Ask 16,200 times, plot as image. The models know. From compressing the internet.

Your dad is about to give away your entire inheritance.
The whole point of building Tavus has been simple: talking to a machine should feel as natural as talking to a friend or coworker.
It’s hard to describe all the tiny nuances that make a conversation feel human. The little expressions. Moving around in your chair. Knowing when to speak and when to listen. The dance of it all.
Griffin is by far the closest anyone has come to a model that can capture those nuances. The first time I saw it being used, I had no idea I was watching our model rather than just a normal video call.
I’m so incredibly proud of this team and what they’ve built.

If you're using AI all day and you're not making more money, it means you have the same problem you had before the AI: you're doing stuff that doesn't matter.
This is the real reason 99% of people don't get ahead. They don't know how to tell the difference between what's important and what's irrelevant. And just doing irrelevant things faster gets you the same outcome: nothing.
Except this time it cost you tokens.
Robots are the future of Agriculture. No problem is bigger than labor!
I've been hand managing a list of farm robots and details about them since 2024 for fun and to learn about the ecosystem.
List is up to 200+ robots and now thats its feasible because of agents I have the system do weekly research on everything for me and send me a newsletter including
New Robots
Funding Rounds
Upcoming Events
Who the customers are
The VC's involved etc.
Me ands some close friends have been enjoying it.
