I'm coming out of Twitter hibernation to weigh in on last night's news of #WildStar & @CarbineStudios' closure. Of all the titles I covered in my games blogging days, WildStar was effortless to produce content for. Stunning game world, great character races, & engaging gameplay.
But as much as I loved the actual game, it was the @JeffKurtenacker's soundtrack that absolutely won me over. It still stands as one of my favourite VG soundtracks ever (I even use a number of tracks in my various D&D playlists!)
So here's the #WildStar and all those that made it a cozmotronic effort. Rest assured that the Rowsdower will be well looked after by Toby the Dealspwny at the Retired Mascots Ranch.
Considering how its planned features border with one of my dream game ideas (noir-inspired open world with procedurally generated storylines), Living Dark has certainly piqued my interest. livingdark.com
In other adventure game news, Life Is Strange is releasing on iOS next week. Another fine title you should definitely consider if you haven't already.
If you haven't played Grim Fandango Remastered yet, now there's no excuse because @gogcom have kicked off their Winter Sale by giving it away for free. Go grab it while you can!
Finally got round to watching Your Name this evening. My emotional state is pretty all over the place right now. Bloody gorgeous film.
Having now caught up with #TGA2017, here are my 5 favourite moments:
* From Software's teasiest of teasers
* All the Bayonetta
* Carol Shaw's heartwarming icon award
* Death Stranding & the funky fetus of Norman Reedus
* A Wiseau Out

Spending today learning how to use HitFilm Express. Not too shabby for a free piece of software. Definitely more versatile than Vegas / Movie Studio, & has plenty of familiar options from Adobe Premiere.

Woken up feeling super poorly today. So I’m going to go do what my bf did when he helped me prep for my show. Hide.

There's also some words about the PC version of Destiny 2 on the way, so brace yourselves for that.
Although I will say this - Lord Shaxx is still the GOAT.

Had a couple new posts go live today. First up is why @FortniteGame's Battle Royale has won me over: digitaloutburst.net/2017/11/…
Today's announcement of @AIR_thegame has definitely piqued my interest. There's still much to learn about it, but I'm throwing it on my "Games To Keep An Eye On" list.
