Hodgetts gets overlooked as a lake as the fish aren’t the biggest on the complex… but I tell you what, weight doesn’t matter when you are after a bite! Me and James headed there on the last morning, with one rod each we had had 14 bites between us!

Last year I visited many different day tickets, worked a few different jobs, and had some mega sessions out on the bank… this year I’ve decided to start to get my head stuck into one place.
Hopefully get amongst a few of the ones on my hit list 🤞🏽

Can you beat the sight of the morning sun burning through whilst being on the bank? We think not!
Dan Wildbore looking over the iconic Elstow pits, soaking up the goodness as he waits in anticipation for a bite.

Had the pleasure to be at the charity event in September in memory of Iain MacMillan - being behind the camera was a privilege to be able to capture all the moments…
Here’s @DaveLevy73 with a mid 30 from an early morning bite.

Was pleased to see this one go over the net cord, a proper scaley 30lb+ caught on a solid bag over bait.
