It was never about the destination, but damn did it feel good to cross that finish line. Four months of training while raising close to $4,000 for Alzheimer’s. Thankful for my friends and family that showed up and watched. Grateful that my body kept up. 💙

This didn’t make yesterday’s story (espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/5024…), but here’s one more interesting answer from Josh Jacobs’ first time speaking to reporters since his arrest in May.
On what he said to his teammates when he addressed the situation with them:

FANTASY: Can Matthew Golden make it three straight weeks with more than 100 yards? @MarquesEversoll thinks he can.
"I know Golden's had issues with drops, he's leading the league with six drops... My concern about that is Matthew Golden's jersey number - ZERO."

A lot of good information in this video if you have a few minutes. @ByRyanWood, @MarquesEversoll, and I unpack what Josh Jacobs said while meeting with the media for the first time since he was placed on the commissioner's exempt list. Plus, what his return means for the #Packers
“Honestly, it was probably one of the best things that ever happened to me. It gave me a chance to reevaluate what’s important, what I want my life to look like, and what I want people to know me for.
It also showed me who was in my corner, people I didn’t even know or expect. That gave me so much more appreciation and love for this organization and this state.” #Packers
Kind of sounded like Josh Jacobs may break down a few times talking to the media for the first time this year.
He said he was not overly concerned about never playing in the NFL again, but added that this situation has helped him ‘re-evaluate what’s important.’ #Packers

#Packers LB Ty’Ron Hopper got his name and number burned into the special teams ‘big hit of the week’ hammer.

Packers held only what they called a job-through today so practice participations are estimated, but only one DNP today.
Josh Jacobs not listed so presumably he’s full go.

Matt LaFleur addresses the drops by the #Packers:
"I have a lot of confidence in our guys that when called upon, they're going to make the plays... and if they drop the ball, you know what I want them to do? I want them to reset and go play the next play."
Through six games, the Packers lead the NFL in drops (16) and drop rate (7.2%), according to ESPN Analytics, yet they rank fifth in passing (269.3 yards per game) and Jordan Love ranks third in the league in passing yards (1,684).
The drops by player are: Golden 6, Kraft 3, Melton 2, Lloyd 2, Watson 1, Strong 1, Reed 1.
Golden’s 6 drops are the most in the league, however, he ranks sixth in receiving yards (501) just behind Watson (538). Watson ranks second in receiving touchdowns (6) one behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Matt LaFleur's full answer about Josh Jacobs returning to practice after spending the first six weeks on the commissioner's exempt list:
"I do believe in second chances." #Packers
Matt LaFleur on getting Josh Jacobs back, while acknowledging the situation that’s kept him off the field:
“I’ve been around him a lot… I do believe he is a good person, and I do believe in second chances.” #Packers
This is the most Wisconsin thing I've ever seen 🤣
If you’re wondering what the #Brewers being in the World Series means to Wisconsin … someone is literally projecting playoff highlights onto their house and broadcasting the radio calls in real time …. turning their home into a Christmas light show … but for baseball. 😂😂😂

Adam Stenavich: “Josh I think will definitely help for sure.”
“He looks great.”
Jonathan Gannon gave a resounding answer about how Evan Williams has been playing:
“He’s intelligent… I love how Matt says it, ‘if you wanna play like a G, you have to prepare like a G’, and he studies and when you study the way he does, he knows what’s going on. Nothing is catching him by surprise… He’s playing very well right now.”
