All Jordan Spence wanted to do, was play every damn game. That’s it. To trade him for nothing and replace him with Cody Ceci, is just completely asinine. #GoKingsGo
With Cody Ceci in their lineup #GoKingsGo are 0-5-2. Without him they are 3-1-0.
Spence is coming back to town with the Sens. The Kings wanted to make him a depth defenseman. He's No. 2 in TOI and No. 1 in XGF% for a more successful team in a much better division/conference.

This is QB’s career in a nutshell. It’s maddening how much he’s involved in generating chances with so little production to show for it. With most guys you would assume the law of averages would even it out and it will come, but after YEARS of this, I’m not sure it ever will.
5v5 #LAKings Shot & Scoring Chance Contributions vs Chicago. (Attempts via NST).
-Tough eye test w/bad turnover, at times non existent, but QB atop Shot & Chance Contributions 👀
-Nearly half of chances came in first 10 min
-Kevin Fiala will be a welcome addition

"Why don't NHL players want to play in Canada???"
"It means no one knows who you are."
Hayes gives his blunt opinion on an interesting question to Connor Hellebuyck...

Good news bad news for the Kings
Good news: they play in the Pacific Division which is full of crappy teams
Bad news: they’re one of the crappy teams

Byfield with a tough giveaway on that goal. I really don't want to pile on. But its just got to be better from 55.

The Kings are playing a puck-moving defenseman who spent last season in the AHL, scratching Cody Ceci, and have won three of their last four, which should surprise absolutely no one.

Kings game morning hangover recap
- Defense stepped up offensively
- Doughty with his best game as captain (1g,2a)
- Nine points (2g,7a) in 11 games for Laferriere
- Expecting Fiala back sometime next week
- Good trip, can make it a great one tonight in Chicago

If you let Joel Edmundson, Mikey Anderson and Drew Doughty, score in the same game, it might be time to chalk the season. #NYR #GoKingsGo

I'll never complain about a Cody Ceci scratch, but Joel Edmundson has been impressively bad this season, even for him. #GoKingsGo

The #LAKings have two defense pairs who have played a minimum of 13 minutes together with xGF% of over 63%.
Erik Gustafsson is on both of them.

I’ve seen enough. Starting goaltender for the Kings! #GoKingsGo

He's also 4th in shot assists/60 on @ShutdownLine's metrics for a D in that same time behind only Quinn Hughes, Adam Fox, and Rasmus Dahlin. He's also 5th in xG created via pass. This helps him to a playmaker badge and an even higher Offensive Rating than Defensive.
You wouldn’t know it with the way some fans talk about him. Dude has carried the blue line, despite being anchored to Joel Edmundson and now he finally has a partner who can keep up. #GoKingsGo
