Every clip I come across makes it look like they just swing bat as hard as possible and slog the ball straight. Meanwhile cricket has so many different shots each requiring different skills and techniques. The difference in batting skills between the two is just insane.

I could see the new front office looking at J.P. and wanting to bring him in for an infield spot Grew up in SoCal Lakewood HS alumni In a year where the F/A market isn’t flooding with talent. Having him for the short term at 3B/2B doesn’t seem completely off the table He’ll be 32 heading into next season, his glove still plays well his bat has slowed down a bit in recent years but he is a quality IF LHB you can put in this lineup (imo more valuable than Frazier was this season) He would be a good influence to put around Zach Neto also Who would be against this signing? #Angels

Moreno cared, but was a meddler in the worst ways. Angels would've been much better off the last two decades with a poverty owner that at least let baseball people make the baseball decisions.

The sentiment is bad, but also 2 of the 3 most widely used defensive metrics agree that Wilson is a good shortstop this season. Why metrics exist isn’t hard to understand, so why throw the baby out with the bathwater like this?

Really would have liked to move Reid, but it’s fine. Maybe his upward trend continues and 2 years of him in the offseason pulls more than 2.5 of him does now (barring CBA shenanigans).
