It's finally here. AstralBeam is open on testnet! 🪐✨
Connect a Casper wallet, grab test assets from the faucet, and beam them onto Casper from @ethereum, @base @0xPolygon or @RobinhoodApp Chain.
Try it now: astralbeam.io

Introducing AstralBeam.
Beam tokens, tokenized equities and metals onto Casper from @Ethereum, @base, @0xPolygon and @RobinhoodApp Chain, rules and all, with proof it happened exactly once.

Casper node software, protocol and network does not rely on nor incorporate any of the affected software. For us and our users, Wednesday was just Wednesday.
Tokenized stocks are coming onchain. @mssteuer recently told @Benzinga the first question investors should ask:
“What exactly do I own?”
Do you get the votes and dividends? What if the provider fails? Casper was built to answer that.

Last looked at Casper in early 2025? In '26, you’ll find a much improved network in speed, fees and governance.
Blocks went from 16 seconds to 8. Fees get burned. Validators now vote on tokenomics on-chain.

Who’s your API’s next paying customer?
Possibly an AI agent with a job to finish. Your service could be its next stop.
With x402 in the Casper AI Toolkit, agents can pay per request as they work.

Most blockchains give every app the same engine.
Casper runs more than one on the same L1:
🔸 VM 2.0, contracts in plain Rust
🔸 Casper EVM, on DevNet with Uniswap
One chain, more than one way to build.

What did Casper ship in Q3, and what’s next for Q4?
Our President & CTO @mssteuer returns to @CryptoCharged tomorrow, Thursday, October 15, to discuss the latest upgrades and what’s ahead for Casper.
Make sure you don’t miss it. 👇
Michael Steuer is back on the show Thursday.
Casper just shipped a big Q3 round of fundamental upgrades. The Q4 outline is out too. Plenty of people in this space are charismatic. Michael has the technical expertise to back it.

Every blockchain has to answer one question: when is a transaction actually done?
On Casper, the answer is the moment its block reaches quorum. That's Zug, Casper's consensus protocol.
Most networks give you a probability instead. A new block can still be replaced for a while after it appears, so you wait for confirmations while confidence builds.
On Ethereum, full finality takes around 13 minutes.
Zug is deterministic. Once a block is agreed, it's final. No reorgs, no rollbacks, no waiting for more blocks to pile up on top.
Why that matters:
🔸 A tokenized property changing hands is never half-transferred
🔸 Developers can act on new state straight away
🔸 Settlement records can be relied on the second they're written
Zug also changed how validators are held to account.
Under Highway, Casper's previous protocol, validators were judged as a group, so one weak link could drag down everyone else.
Zug scores each validator on every block, on their own activity. Underperform, and the penalty lands on you alone.
It's lighter too, with less messaging between validators and less state for each node to carry. That lowers the bar to run one.
Final in seconds, accountable per block, and built for assets that can't afford a maybe.
