Of course, BlueJay had always been a blood-slurpin' demon, but still

A quick sketch for the Chinese Lunar New Year, the year of the Snake! 🐍🎉

January 2025 #BirdWhisperer project bird is the Common Loon!
Growing up in Minnesota, I'd go on camping outings in the north. I'd sometimes hear the ghosts of the water call out and its somethings that never leaves you. #BirdArt #ornithology #SciArt #NatureArt #WildlifeArt
It's #SquirrelAppreciationDay🥜🎉
Let's cheer for our little re-foresters! Although some see them as nuisances, squirrels are vital seed dispersers for environmental health. With 250 squirrel species on five continents, they're agile and resilient!

Decided to sketch a Blue Penguin, aka Little Penguin. Found in Australia, Tasmania, and New Zealand and is the smallest species of penguin with adults being as tall as 12-14“ in height.

Yellow-Throated Warbler sketch for 2025!
My first bird of the year was technically a male cardinal, but my first NEW bird was the Yellow-Throated Warbler when we went bird-watching over the first weekend of the month. So, I'm counting this as my bird for the year! 😅

#AnimalDayCal2025 #AnimalDayCal
This year I made this for creators on social media of all kinds. My personal goal is to pick 3 a month this year to do sketches for.🤞
I always saw how powerful artists and creators can be to help bring awareness and talk about these animals. If we care, we help protect them!
