I tried a new game on Steam today, Dungeons & Dining Tables (DEMO) It's a cozy adventure RPG where you play as a cute Axolotl, complete quests, decorate your house, and explore dungeons. It's being developed by the Australian indie studio, @CatalystGamess. Full game is still in development, but you can try out the demo right now. I first discovered this game being featured in @loadoutprotocol, and got hooked by the cute Axolotl in the trailer! Lately, I've been playing a lot of competitive games, and I'm slowly starting to feel burned out from constantly trying to keep up compete with other players. That's why it such a relief to try out a cozy adventure game like this, where I can just relax, vibe, and enjoy progressing through the story at my own pace. STRESS FREE GAMING! XD Personally, I can't wait to try the full game, and I'm hoping they'll add some multiplayer features in the future, like visiting each other's houses and trading items. But with a small team and limited funding they have, features like that aren't easy to build. That's why I'm glad they decided to launch on @loadoutprotocol soon, where every token buy and sell can directly funds their studio in real time. Gamers can now literally invest in and support the games they love, while developers receive sustainable funding without relying heavily on traditional publishers. If more studios start doing this, indie game development could be in a much better place, and more developers passionately building will have a chance to showcase their potential.
