No-selling" a massive, high-impact move just to immediately jump up and hit another move doesn't make you look tough. It just kills the logic of the match. Am I old school for thinking this, or is the psychology completely lost lately?

Daily reminder that if you’re about to send a message or post a comment that is insensitive, invasive, or just plain fucked up - you can just not! Like you can just put your phone down! You can save it to your drafts! You can throw your phone into the ocean! Many such options

Jerry Lawler and Andy Kaufman didn't have a 50/50 match. Andre the Giant would not have done lucha spots with Regis Philbin. Stop presenting these guys as equals to your roster. PROTECT YOUR ROSTER!

Celebrities in wrestling dates back 100 years to having Heavyweight Champion boxers as special referees etc. The problem is, in modern corporate wrestling, they're obsessed with presenting these celebrities as equally competent pro wrestlers to the talent on their roster.

Reminder to all: If yours truly writing something positive when it's deserved makes you angry, google therapy. I want ALL pro wrestling to succeed, not whatever myopic version makes one promotion that makes *you* happy successful. It's all one interconnected world and I want it to do as well as possible - WWE, NWA, NXT, AEW, TNA, ROH, NJPW, HOG, Revolver, GCW, independents, all of it. If you don't, that's a you thing and you getting mad at me for not being hateful, snarky, mean-spirited, rage-baiting, etc., well, again, that's a you thing.

Thank you to the @nwa and @KfwTn for the privilege of calling the return of #Empowerrr. To the thousands watching at home, the sold out crowd in Sevierville, and the locker room who poured their all into this show, THANK YOU. 🙏 This will be one I remember for a long time.

As we plan our next show, a local elementary school reached out about helping them stock their clothes closet with new or gently used shoes. If we update our Amazon wishlist and provide a mailing/drop-off location, could we rally the wrestling community for a quick project? 👟

Christi Simpson was 16 years old when she met Randy Savage in the hallway of the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. This wasn’t backstage. This wasn’t a fan-access event. There were no VIP wristbands or social media selfies. It was just real. She had written him a letter—pages from a young fan who didn’t idolize the character, but felt something deeper for the man behind it. Every time she met Randy, she gave him another letter. She never wrote one to anyone else. Only him. And here’s the part that gets me: He came out into the hallway during the show… and walked right up to her. No handler. No PR staff. Just Randy. Before he left, he offered her the photo and autograph. Not the other way around. And when she got that photo back days later—from a 35mm roll of film—she saw something she hadn’t even noticed in the moment: He was smiling. A quiet, sincere smile. Not the Macho Man growl or the big theatrics. Just a kind man giving a kid a moment she’d never forget. She saved that photo. She saved the shirt she wore that day. She saved the newspaper from that week. She even saved the envelope she had her ticket in. And you know what else stuck with her? He spelled her name right. “That was a big deal to me… my name is never spelled right.” It might not seem like much. But when someone sees you, when they remember you, and they treat you like you matter—that sticks with you for life. Christi didn’t just meet her favorite wrestler that day. She met an extension of her childhood. A link to her hero, Miss Elizabeth. A piece of who she used to be… still protected in a cedar chest and a soft memory. That’s what this page is about. That’s why we’re here. And Christi, thank you for bringing all that back with just one story—and a smile you didn’t even know you had. —Steve Stasiak, BPW Founder 📌 Follow all our socials at Book Pro Wrestlers

Just stopping by to say that there are so many great people who are great wrestlers and you should consider booking them. This whole “let’s give this awful person a 27th chance to show us they’ve grown” thing just isn’t it. Book the good people. They’re worth it!
