USC killed a century old conference and its most iconic rivalry to be the Missouri of the Big Ten.

Let’s be honest here… The most BYU thing ever would be to beat Notre Dame and then lose to UCF next week

Nothing captures the story of USC in the Big Ten better than losing 24-7 to a team whose QB threw for 58 yards

Notre Dame is everyone’s favorite to win the College Football Playoffs and have just a 3 point lead on Wisconsin at the half 😬

Replying to @BYUfootball
You mean create a culture that cheats to win? Have you guys come up for consequences for this player?
CougConnect took down the video of BYU DL Justin Kirkland admitting to the foul at the end of the first half of the BYU-Notre Dame game. Here’s the full video ⬇

I think it would be smart to have a fan base before going independent

When CJ Carr goes to watch his brother Tommy Carr play, it’s a great story. But when a friend of mine goes to watch my son Ryan Day play, Pete Thamel throws a fit.

In an article written exclusively for the Deseret News, @BYU President C. Shane Reese recounts an act of kindness that the @NDFootball coach, Marcus Freeman, offered to a BYU player during the match up last weekend — and what it taught him about living our values. I feel I need to put an end to this absurd take that too many have latched onto. It may be a fun “whatabout”, but it’s completely irrelevant based on the rules. The only relevant factor is the clock was at :01 when the ball hit the ground. Had the clock not started at all creating a significant clock error, replay could use time elapsed, but that didn’t happen. And to assume anyone other than Daktronics’ engineers understands exactly how the clock functions internally is foolish. For example, the vast majority of stadium clocks in both college and NFL incorrectly count off the 1st second after a clock reset in about 1/3 second rather than taking a full second (ex, at the beginning of a quarter or after a 10-second runoff).
Refs got it right, but it came down to LITERALLY a tenth of a second. However, we know that there can't be EXACTLY 4 seconds on the clock since the previous second had been running, so there was most likely something like 3.8 or 3.9 seconds meaning game is over.
