Apparently sending your kids to school just means that they watch YouTube all day.
I hope no Protestant ever reads this book because then they would learn all about the secret beliefs that we have about Mary. It would do untold damage to the Church
Replying to @catholicpat
Catholic cult teaches
1) Mary was a bad wife to Joseph by refusing to consummate their marriage
2) Jesus & his disciples especially their first pope were liars by refusing to believe they were Jews when they said it themselves
3) God was created since Mary is mother of God
🤦🏻
Setting fires is easy. You can burn the works of greater men and get on the news for it. But this is not how culture is built.
It’s easy to sit back and criticize the French for what’s going on right now, but take a look in the mirror. Are you building something or just tearing down the works of others?
Ever wonder how the people are chosen to read petitions at mass for big events? It’s usually not something that’s planned.
Last year on World Mission Sunday, @DrewLoewen and I went to mass at La Sagrada Família. We knew one of the priests there, so we got escorted to the front of the church by the rector. While we were waiting for mass to begin, a small Catalonian woman came up to me and asked “do you want the prayer in English?”
I thought she was asking if I wanted a translation for the mass, so I said yes. But then she handed me this sheet (first picture). That’s not a translation…
Then they ushered me over to sit with a bunch of other folks, none of them spoke English, and then we started to rehearse. The MC gave all the instructions in Spanish, then looked at me and went “did you get all that?”
“I’m just going to do what the person in front of me does.”
“Perfect”
Anyway, that’s the story of how I read one of the petitions at the world’s most beautiful churches on my first visit.
If someone blocked all your social media presence, would there be any signs that you even exist? Could anyone point to your impact?
We’re not here to build the Kingdom, not a following
Next update be like
“The Holy Father is no longer with us at the hospital.”
Pope Leo XIV's doctors announced on Saturday morning that Pope Leo XIV is fit to be discharged from Gemelli Hospital.
In a statement from the Holy See Press Office, Dr. Luigi Carbone and Professor Stefano Margaritora said the Pope underwent blood tests and a chest X-ray in the morning, which confirm that his clinical condition allows for him to leave hospital.
The Holy See Press Office said he will return to the Vatican on Saturday afternoon and pray the Angelus on Sunday from the window of the papal apartment.

Priests, please don't mess with the baptism rites in hospitals. I get that some older priests think that shooting from the hip is "pastoral" but when my son is about to go into surgery, I don't want to be worrying if the baptism was valid or not.
The Catholic Faith is the most beautiful gift we have on earth.
Why do we spend so much time on drama?
The pope’s words and deeds won’t send you to hell. But your sins can.
It hit me at mass today how very little of us have any business weighing in on Church matters.
Everyone wants to correct the pope, but none of us have been put in charge of him.
If you have war trauma from the sounds of fighter jets flying over, you’re probably not a friend of the United States.
That means you wouldn’t be in a city the Blue Angels were performing in anyway.
