I was thrilled to receive the Chief Animation Director's corrections for this cut!
One of the highlights of working on JJK was having the chance to see all the correction drawings. My deepest gratitude to the Sousakkan and Sakkan for elevating the quality of the LO drawings 🙇♂️
I had the great honor of being assigned the opening sequence for episode 59 of JJK Season 3.

画面の構成素材は極めてシンプルです。繰り返し流れる背景の絵と走り続けるカオル。高速道路のシーンも同じですが、背景が動いてるだけで物体が移動してるように見えるというのがアニメの醍醐味だと思ってるところがあり、長く使いたいカットでした。

I remember that Keitaro was wearing a helmet when I drew him in the last two cuts, but he wasn’t in the final version. It’s very interesting to see!

一繋がりのシーンはできるだけ同じ人に担当してもらいたいのですが、なかなかそうもいかず、複数の方にバラバラに描いていただくことがあります。気をつけないとカットとカットがつながっていない印象が出てしまうため注意が必要ですが、こちらの3カットはそれぞれ勢いがあり面白さがそれぞれあるシーンになりました。敬太郎のへっぴり腰がとても良いです。
