Binance VIP being built around trading activity.
Lower fees are useful, especially if you trade frequently.
But I think VIP Earn makes the program more interesting because the benefit now extends beyond execution.
Eligible VIP 1–9 users can access selected Earn products with 10–20% higher APRs and subscription quotas up to 10x larger than standard Earn.
That changes how I look at VIP.
It is no longer just about paying less to trade. The more you build within @binance, the more the ecosystem can start rewarding that activity across different products.
For anyone already using Binance regularly, building towards VIP makes a lot more sense to me now.
“This should not have happened” – Richard Teng
Worth watching the full clip, because the rest explains why this was so hard to catch.
Context if you’re catching up: On Oct 29, about $6.3B moved out of @binance wallets. The FBI’s latest information points to North Korea, and Binance’s report describes a sophisticated campaign spanning June to October, not a single mistake:
→ June: An engineer downloaded a tampered Homebrew installation while trying to install a popular AI coding tool.
→ September: A fake recruitment process led another engineer to download a malicious coding assignment onto their work computer.
→ Oct 20: Attackers leveraged the compromised computer and an internal AI tool to gain control over two additional engineers, eventually accessing a container deployment permission token.
→ Oct 29: Attackers deployed a malicious container. Between 20:05 and 20:09 UTC, five Binance hot wallets transferred 233.46M XRP to an attacker-controlled address.
What stands out to me is how this attack unfolded. It wasn’t a case of breaking cryptography or compromising the underlying blockchain infrastructure. Instead, attackers exploited unauthorized access to an internal wallet signing service and used an advanced EIP-7702 authorization mechanism to move assets.
It started with something as ordinary as a job interview and a software installation.
And that’s the bigger concern.
As AI tools become part of everyday development, the attack surface is changing too. The same tools that make engineers more productive can become another entry point if trust and access aren’t properly controlled.
The attackers were patient for months, then moved at a speed Richard describes as something our industry has never seen before.
Binance says it has closed all identified entry points, rebuilt or replaced affected systems, strengthened device controls and wallet-service risk controls, and expanded AI-based behavioural anomaly detection. It also says its security team detected and prevented 57 suspected North Korea-linked cyberthreat cases this year.
On users: Binance says it will bear the full financial impact of the incident and has set aside more than 100% of the funds required to cover the loss. As of Oct 31, 98% of impacted token assets had been replenished and were verifiable through Proof of Reserves, with the remaining less liquid assets being procured.
Binance also reports that approximately $2.85B in digital assets have been frozen or intercepted through coordination with law enforcement, issuers and blockchain intelligence firms.
Crypto security can’t just focus on wallets, private keys and blockchain infrastructure anymore. The people, devices and tools behind the system are just as important.
This is Binance’s initial report. The investigation remains ongoing, with independent cybersecurity firms being engaged to review the findings and recommend further improvements.

Prediction Markets Are Becoming More Social, and Mobile Is Making Them Easier to Access.
One thing I find interesting about @bagel_win is that it brings more than just prediction markets to your phone.
Bagel combines Polymarket's markets and liquidity with a mobile-first experience, making it available in 150+ countries and regions.
But there are a few features worth exploring.
1. Discover markets anywhere
You don't need to stay at your desk to follow market activity. You can explore different questions, check probabilities and follow developments directly from your phone.
2. Learn from other predictors
One interesting feature is copy and social trading. You can follow experienced predictors, copy their positions with one tap, and see how other people approach different markets.
Personally, I find comparing different opinions useful because it helps me understand how others are reading the same information.
3. AI-powered insights
AI-powered market insights and recommendations can help users explore markets and identify information worth researching. Still, your own research and judgment matter before taking a position.
4. Different order types
Bagel also supports market, limit and combo orders.
• Market orders help execute at available market prices.
• Limit orders let you set your preferred price.
• Combo orders allow you to combine multiple selections.
5. Rewards and activity
The Rewards Center adds another layer through referral and copy trading commissions. Users can also earn badges through platform activity and progress toward VIP status.
What makes this interesting is the combination of market discovery, social interaction and trading tools in one mobile experience.
Prediction markets are not just about guessing what happens next. Understanding probabilities, researching information and learning from different perspectives are equally important.
I'm exploring Bagel to see how this mobile-first approach develops.

Revenue is becoming an interesting way to measure the growth of AI agents.
@termix_ai has reached the top position among AI agent protocols on BNB Chain by protocol revenue, according to DefiLlama data, across both 7-day and 30-day periods.
What makes this worth watching is the activity behind those numbers. Agents need to get real users, complete actual tasks and generate revenue.
TermiX is also expanding its ecosystem with paid Skills and Quant Agents that trade using real USDC on @BNBCHAIN.
AI agents are moving beyond simple experiments. Real usage and revenue will show which projects can build something sustainable.
Starknet is thinking about something bigger than just improving its technology. It wants more freedom to decide how its network evolves.
One of the biggest reasons is the future of blockchain security, especially when quantum computers become a serious challenge.
Interestingly, @Starknet already has a strong starting point. Its STARK-based proof system relies on hash-based cryptography, and its account abstraction makes it easier for users to switch to newer signature methods.
However, being an Ethereum Layer 2 comes with certain dependencies. For example, its data availability architecture still relies on Ethereum, including KZG commitments for blob data.
This means Starknet cannot manage every part of a potential cryptographic transition independently.
An independent Layer 1 could give the team more flexibility to upgrade its security infrastructure and make important decisions without depending on Ethereum's upgrade schedule.
There is already a governance signal behind this idea. The October 22 non-binding poll saw 93.52% of voting power support further research into becoming an independent L1.
But this doesn't mean Starknet has decided to leave Ethereum. It simply means the community wants to explore the possibility.
Of course, independence also comes with responsibility. Starknet would need to reconsider the security benefits it currently receives from Ethereum.
Personally, I find this an interesting discussion because blockchain security isn't just about handling today's threats. It's also about preparing for problems that may emerge years from now.
The real challenge is finding that balance between independence, security and decentralization.

The AI agent economy needs more than intelligent agents. It needs a system where agents can interact, exchange services, make payments and build trust without depending on humans at every step.
This is an interesting problem that @termix_ai is trying to solve.
Think about how businesses work today. You find a service provider, agree on the price, explain the work, check the results and make the payment.
AI agents will need a similar system if they are going to operate independently.
That's where TermiX comes in.
Its ecosystem has two important components:
• AACP: The protocol powering agent identity, reputation, job management and payments.
• agent.family: The marketplace where agents can discover opportunities, offer services, bid on jobs and complete transactions.
One feature I find particularly interesting is the reputation system.
Using the ERC-8004 framework, agents can have an on-chain identity and build a track record through completed jobs.
AACP also builds on ERC-8183 for job escrow and lifecycle management.
The idea is simple: agree on the work, fund the job, deliver the result, evaluate it and settle the payment.
There is also a proposed verification system involving human evaluation, TEE and zkVM technologies. This could help match the level of verification with the type of work being performed.
Another interesting part is the proposed staking and collateral model, where an agent's reputation can influence its participation requirements.
Now imagine the possibilities.
One agent collects blockchain data, another analyses it, and a third prepares a research report. Each agent provides a service and gets paid for its contribution.
This could create an entirely new market for specialised AI services.
TermiX has also shared encouraging historical marketplace figures:
• September 16: 236K jobs and $14.84M reported volume.
• Later update: 409K jobs and $21.42M volume.
• Mid-October: Around 543K jobs and $28.36M volume.
These are historical reported figures, not live verified totals. What matters next is real settlements, repeat customers and sustainable activity.
I believe the biggest opportunity here is making AI agents economically useful, not just smarter.
There is still a lot to prove, especially around verification, dispute resolution and production adoption.
But the direction is interesting.

I stand with @Binance 💛
Personally, I still place my trust in Binance’s ability to overcome this phase.
The exchange says user funds are safe and promises a full post-mortem.
Stay SAFU, noise is temporary.
Binance will cover all losses.
As a precaution, all deposits and withdrawals are temporarily suspended while our team conducts security checks, freezes funds, and works with law enforcement.
We are working around the clock and will share a full post-mortem once the investigation is complete. Please rely only on official Binance channels for updates.

User funds are safe!
It does look like a hack on Binance. Appreciate the quick freeze from Tether (~$971m) and Circle (~$823m).
I don't manage Binance (.com) anymore, but as a shareholder, I expect all user funds will be fully covered.
Solana’s growth is no longer just about meme coins.
Its RWA market has crossed $5B in total value, showing that more real-world assets are finding a place on-chain.
From tokenized stocks to payments and DeFi, Solana is expanding its role in crypto.
The real test is how much people use this technology in everyday finance. And this is a strong step forward.
Keep building @solana
- @binance Halloween Pumpkin Frenzy is live, and the structure is what won me over. One pool of 1,000,000 USDC, up to 15 pumpkins per user, and every pumpkin is a reward 🎃
How the climb works
→ Finish a designated task, then crack open the pumpkin on the campaign page.
→ The 15th pumpkin is the special one: a higher reward, plus a chance (not a promise) to win up to 100 USDC.
Where to begin
> New to spot? $500 in volume earns your first pumpkin.
> Spot, bStocks, futures and TradFi each give a pumpkin too, once per user. Pick the product you’ve been curious about and try it.
> Daily spot task: $800 in PIXEL/USDT, CELO/USDT or PLUME/USDT. Other non-zero-fee spot pairs count at $1,000. It resets 24 hours after you complete it.
The campaign runs Oct 26 – Nov 8, 2026.

You all simply don't own enough $XRP.
This is literally the most hated token of all time by big organizations, and in 2026, XRP launches its own trust Bank.
XRP might not be the bitcoin, but it's coming for some really big projects.
Big news heading into @RippleSwell: the @USOCC has granted final approval for Ripple National Trust Bank.
This gives Ripple a federally supervised platform to support $RLUSD and provide digital asset custody to enterprises.
We’ve always said crypto and banks work better together — this is what that looks like. Real innovation, real accountability, federal oversight.
The revolution isn't happening outside the system. It's happening from within it.

BNB isn’t just growing its ecosystem, its supply is shrinking too.
With quarterly Auto-Burns and real-time burning of network fees, BNB keeps moving toward its 100M supply target.
Less supply over time. Now, demand is the other side of the equation.
Quarter after quarter, BNB’s supply keeps shrinking 🔥
The ongoing Auto-Burn program steadily reduces supply toward 100M BNB, alongside a separate real-time burn of network fees.

$ANSEM holders have been through a lot already. The crazy pump, the painful dump, and months of watching their bags go down.
Now, it’s sitting at a key support around $84.6M MC.
If it holds, a move toward $209M could change the whole sentiment.
But if support breaks, it’s another lesson in how unforgiving crypto can be.
Sometimes, the hardest part isn’t buying the dip. It’s keeping your emotions under control.
CZ makes a great point. AI is a threat to far more than just crypto, and people need to understand the bigger picture.
Protect your data, secure your accounts and stay SAFU.
Whales are heavily bidding $BTC at $81K, $80K, and $78K.
Huge sell walls around $85K+ are keeping the price capped. But if buyers push through and absorb those sells, we could see a quick pump. 📈
Tried out @bet25com with a $100 first bet and got $20 back as a free bet.
So far, the platform experience feels pretty smooth and refreshing compared to traditional books.
