I’ve put off writing this note but it’s time to face the difficult thing that I’m still processing: @FifthandMission is ending, the podcast I’ve produced and hosted for over 2.5 years.
Today’s final episode is my goodbye note and reflection to listeners. sfchronicle.com/podcasts/art…

Tonight at 6 pm, join the Fifth & Mission team at the @prx Podcast Garage to discuss making a daily news podcast! Tix below:
If you’re missing @FifthandMission like I’ve been, join me & the team next Wed (11/15) at @prx Podcast Garage where we’ll discuss how we made the podcast.
I’d love to meet listeners IRL, and toast to our run! 🥂

I’m so, so sad that this day has come, but of course @CeeLei closes out the final episode of @FifthandMission with a thoughtful, heartfelt message to listeners that everyone should hear.

Yes, it's goodbye. The final episode of @FifthandMission is a thoughtful farewell from @CeeLei. Like many talented audio makers right now, all of us on the team will be figuring out our next steps as the Chronicle ends its podcasts.
It's been a privilege.

This was a good show! Hate that it's going away.
While I know we're not the only podcast to go dark (❤️ to all the audio teams that have faced their own recent layoffs), it doesn't take away the sting.
I will always miss @FifthandMission, a show that helped me find genuine connections, and my own voice in more ways than one 🙏
There's still so much to say and lucky for us, @prx Podcast Garage is giving me and the team space to do that with an event on Nov. 15 at @KQED.
Join us to toast to and chat about all things @FifthandMission! kqed.org/events/745698031887 (use code 'fifthandmission' for free tix!)
