This one was very special, both because the record is gorgeous & because Ben cares so much about sharing it via TMR. We’re all just fans wanting others to become fans so we can geek out together, you know? Listen in.
Ben Blackwell believes great music will always find its audience—and he’s made it his mission to help. That’s why he’s championing the work of late Detroit artist Ted Lucas, whose 1975 self-titled LP has now been re-released on Third Man Records: wnxp.org/on-the-record-ben-b…
Also special: we chatted in the lathe room where they cut records of live performances! What a cool playground they’ve built at Third Man. Thanks a bunch, Blackwell. (Pics by @ylrac.)
