A month later still trying to understand how a magnifier that lowers your FOV and covers your screen is considered an unfair advantage.
It’s a trade-off.
If you’re curious, we have reached out politely to @FcpnchStds a couple weeks ago and they wouldn’t provide a counter argument to this.

Not a back step at all. People (usually kids) get tricked or pressured into trying cheats from something as dumb as a discord bot. Sometimes it’s out of anger from losing to a cheater. An 8 month time out and knowing there’s no third chance will likely serve a lot of people for the better.

I can really recommend all of these Crosshairs, if you ever use Crosshair X the best thing to do is definetly set up different ones for Each Weapon you use so you get the Maximum Potential!

Simple solution that avoids banning:
Have servers that are controller only or both. Both parties can coexist peacefully.
I respect the desire for fairness but banning people due to preference feels excessive. It makes the experience way more enjoyable (and accessible) for those fans which means they’ll play Rust longer.
I would try this first to avoid turning away paying customers and precious word of mouth.
