The best coaches know which athletes need a pat on the back and which ones need a more firm approach … And most importantly knowing WHERE to do both. Some athletes respond better to coaching one on one and some respond better in front of the team. Either way it’s the coaches job to figure out who’s who and that starts with building trust…Getting to know each athlete as a person first athlete second.
