One of the greatest honors of my life - to see what we’ve built recognized in this way and to hear the mentees at Haven give @ADD2theMC his flowers in front of @BarackObama was everything. @guitarsoverguns @MBK_Alliance @ObamaFoundation
Today I got to hear from @GuitarsOverGuns—one of @MBK_Alliance’s Freedom Summer ‘22 recipients—about how they’re working to support young people on the South Side of Chicago.
When the Obama Presidential Center opens, it will offer spaces and programming just like this.
Thanks for letting me join!

@ChadBernstein, it gives vulnerable Miami youth a safe space to be mentored by skilled musicians who empower them to own their future through artistic expression.
