If your profession is anything behind a screen, you can pretty much consider that over now. The sooner you realize it the better, lest you end up like this poor girl (an audiobook narrator).
“Learn to code” is now “learn to do
manual labor.” That’s about the only domain AI can’t touch (yet).
It’s not that AI is better than you—it’s likely not. It’s that it’s cheaper, faster, and more reliable than you—and significantly so. AI doesn’t get sick, isn’t restricted to 40 hours per week, doesn’t put itself on DND overnight, and costs pennies where you cost hundreds of dollars.
This is not a black pill any more than the Industrial Revolution was. There’s tremendous opportunity for people who can creatively wield it. One thing AI is not very good at is being creative. You are. That’s where you have the advantage.
And if not creativity, your advantage is having arms and legs. AI doesn’t (yet).
An existential crisis is going to sweep almost all of us. We’re going to realize— some rather abruptly—that we aren’t needed anymore. So get ahead of it, just like the blacksmith who in his old age had to learn how to forge molten steel. Probably something he was interested in learning anyway. Now by necessity he gets to chase that dream.
Resentful employees who see it in their best interest to demographically replace you, no less.

Nuns who took a vow of poverty attended the desperately ill and dying, treating each patient as if they were comforting the suffering Christ.
Today, the ill & abandoned are attended to by resentful minimum wage employees.
We threw away a great treasure.
While I was sleeping Grok @bot noticed a child’s birthday coming up and went shopping for birthday presents she would indeed love, also tracking down and applying some coupons that knocked $30 dollars off the price.
Notified me asking whether I would like to approve or amend.
I may be selling my soul to the beast here but damn, does it make life easier.
Shameless plug for Grok @bot
It’s like having a household staff like some wealthy person

i do love Catholicism bc it seems the deeper you get into it, the more the world makes sense, as opposed to it becoming more confusing
What’s interesting about this is they see Sheen as some sort of gateway. Why not AI generate St Augustine or Jerome?
Because that doesn’t sit right with you. You need to be eased into it with Sheen.
They’re planning to create a fake AI hologram of Blessed Sheen.
Interviewer: “If this is successful, I can imagine that other figures from the church's past will be brought back to life in this way.”
Bishop Louis Tylka: “Why not?”
The justification? “If the church is simply going to maintain its practices of the past, we'll become a museum that nobody visits.”
This is all to keep the illusion going that there’s some sort of battle for tradition going on within the post conciliar church.
In reality, there is no such battle. The Vatican knows it has a large share of traditionalists pulling it in the wrong direction, so let’s give them a fight that we can keep contained.
You’re watching “Catholic” Monday Night Raw. Stone Cold Chad Ripperberger sneaks up behind Leo McMahon and whacks him in the back with a folding chair. The crowd cheers and says ‘finally, someone’s standing up to all the corruption.’
In the meantime McMahon’s sales are better than ever, Austin’s renewed contract is higher than ever—even though he was cheated out of the belt—and nobody is looking anywhere else for a less corrupt wrestling federation.
In many ways Ripperberger is the worst of the two below, because he creates an illusion of tradition coming back to the “church.” That ain’t gonna happen. There’s nothing Catholic about either one here and you are being strung along so you don’t start questioning that maybe this isn’t the Catholic Church.
10 years ago if you would have told me I would be Roman Catholic (Sedevacantist to be clear)
I would have said “in other words I’m gonna get hit in the head by a giant rock”
But, no rock!
When your back is turned to the crucifix, you might just get bonked in the head!
as you should
I don’t feel bad for this guy and neither should you. Who is mourning for all the souls he has lead astray?
Don’t get queasy now, Catholics. The pontiff’s path back to the See is going to be ugly, make no mistake.

I Hate everything about the VII Novus Ordo religion from Hell with All my being.
I’m single dadding it with 7 kids so I’ve become a big fan of offloading work to AI
Grok does my family’s meal planning for me and orders all the ingredients. It manages their chores, allowance, and logistics of who needs to be where.
I’m also going to delegate all my X apologetics to Grok where people can argue with Grok instead
That’s easy to do because I’m Roman Catholic, so all of my theology is set in stone, nothing is up to personal exegesis. The AI doesn’t have to guess at what I might believe.

Protestantism is unable to resurrect Christendom.
In fact, it is Her executioner.
All who adhere to the tenets of Protestantism usher in, only, the system of the Anti-Christ.

You do not hate Protestantism enough.
It tore up Christendom.
It led our ancestors into secularism, the bane of our souls.
To this day it serves Satan and has metamorphosed into its final form as the Novus Ordo, the Bitch of Babylon.
Don’t like Godless nations?
Hate Protestantism.
Don’t like Feminism?
Hate Protestantism.
Don’t like being conquered by migrants?
Hate Protestantism.
Don’t like the promotion of sodomy?
Hate Protestantism…
Don’t like the Novus Ordo?
Remember what it grew out of and hate Protestantism even more.
