I buy things where they're cheap and sell them where they're not • 7 figures sold, 9 if you count cents • helping others do the same @thebuyboxio & @FlipAlert

Been noticing a bunch of new faces around here lately 👋 Figured it’s a good time for a quick intro. If you're new here: I’m Chad. I came from a background in IT (and at one point had a commercial drone license 👀) now I spend my time flipping products, building things, and helping others do the same. I co-run @thebuyboxio, where we teach people how to sell online, and @FlipAlert, a tool for spotting Amazon-to-Amazon flips. Most of what I post falls somewhere between: • sourcing tips • tools I’ve built/am helping build • things that helped me grow • and occasional dumb jokes Glad you’re here.

old school auto ungates are back. tested 6 random gated brands, 5 of them approved instantly, 1 wanted a 200 unit invoice. So it appears we are back to the 2023-2025 era of auto ungates run your gated list before q4

Immaculate vibes in Tennessee today. 1 more day left on our first full week of vacation since starting the Amazon business. Then the great Q4 lock in is upon us 📈

Bought 500+ pairs of $45 Skechers for $2 a pair on my second or third Amazon to Amazon flip ever. My business account showed $6 with no quantity limit, then a bulk discount took it to $2. Sold through at $40-45 in 2-3 months. Told the full story on @cleartheshelf + @ChrisRacic’s pod

What's happening in software right now is unbelievably exciting to me. Programming being controlled by a small group of experts is fading in real time. I literally dreamt of having the power to do things like this as a teenager learning about computers. Like anything, it has its drawbacks, but I think everything that gets built by people who couldn't build before is going to be a net positive in the long run. I see this as regular people taking power back from the corporations that want us to own nothing and be happy. They've had the upper hand for a long time. Now it cuts both ways.
We're seeing the beginning of cognitive hyper abundance. All software will be bespoke, customized, jailbroken, etc. In that respect, the future is very cyberpunk, but in the best way. No more corporate monopoly on software. Open standards, open hardware, hackability, all of it. In short: we're seeing the commoditization of software

Prep center had a box of these sitting on their shelf that belongs to me that slipped through the cracks on my end. Love a good accidental hold

Most sellers hit a ceiling because they're still doing every job themselves. @sidehustlnetwrk built a full-scale prep center by hiring the right people, then did the same thing with his eBay operation. Tonight on the @thebuyboxio call he's breaking down how he hires and builds a team. 8:30 EST / 5:30 PST Come join us on a 7 day free trial 👇 whop.com/thebuybox/thebuybox…

Last Q4, we packed and shipped hundreds of orders out of my house and broke $400K in December. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what it took. youtu.be/TdgsI3tDsfo?si=8nPQ…

PSA for those using the Amazon Business card for flips: If you had the AMEX Prime Business card, you were switched to the new US Bank Amazon business card back in August. I found out the hard way how the grace period works on this one. If your payment posts late, even by a day or two and even if you pay the full balance, you lose the interest free period. From then on every purchase charges interest the day it posts, at 29.99% on mine. Nothing on the statement tells you it happened, the interest just shows up. You only get it back by paying the full statement balance on time two statements in a row. What tripped me up is that US Bank bills through a separate Central Bill Account, not the card itself. The real due date is on that account. Set autopay there for the full balance. If it already got you, call and ask for a one-time courtesy waiver and mention the Amex switch.

Not every Amazon price drop has to go back to Amazon. Grabbed 24 cases of Lucas marine grease for $13.05 ea on a price drop. It's back to $63.46 now. I'm selling the cases on Facebook Marketplace for cash and they're going fast. Will profit about $700 once I sell out @FlipAlert makes this too easy

I love the way Brandon moves. Give him a follow if you’re in the reselling space, you won’t regret it. Huge things on his horizon
I can’t talk about it yet. But I recently purchased a 5 figured domain name for my upcoming project. Yep. 5 figures. Most I’ve ever spent in my life. But a brand is a brand and I had to have it. Im about to turn my childhood into an income stream and that I thought could never be done.

Last night I had an idea: teach my Hermes agent to rabbit trail off an OA leads list. We all know a lead isn't just a product. It's a store, a working coupon code, a sale, a discounted gift card. The agent traces the lead back to its store, pulls the full catalog, and re-prices every product against Amazon through the real discount stack: sales, coupon, gift card. One lead handed me back a stack of buyable ones in a fraction of my usual time, so I let it loose on a month of the list. 219 leads in. 528 buyable leads out. This is in my mind what “AI sourcing for you” looks like. This is what "AI sourcing for you" actually looks like in my mind. Not going to vanilla ChatGPT and asking it to find you an OA lead, but building workflows backed by real knowledge and giving your agent the tools to get the job done.
