Lab results just popped up in MyChart. They reflect exactly how much I’m struggling to exist. The only good thing is that I have hard numbers to justify why I cannot be a contributing member of society right now. Please show me your cats, because I could use some joy.

I bunny kicked Mom’s head and chewed on her hair in the middle of the night. When she put her head under the covers, I went and bunny kicked Dad’s head. Then I killed my mouse and sang the song of my people until they awoke to tell me what mighty huntress I am. So exhausted!

Hyperesthesia doesn’t always manifest as hissing, growling and chasing the ghost of my tail. Sometimes I get confused about what hurts and end up trying to kick my head in frustration. Don’t worry, I got a xanny bomb and gentle pets as soon as it was safe!

Hypomania Update: Feeling calm this morning, except for some mild anxiety over everything I was *supposed* to do this week. Hoping sedation and snuggles with @ChaiGerdes will end this episode. Fingers crossed depression is not waiting on the other side.

I’ve had a hard day. Several hyperesthesia episodes, but thankfully didn’t harm myself. Mom is worried that her unusually high energy level is overstimulating me. We are both going to take our meds tomorrow and have nice quiet snuggly naps all day.
