_________ In English: @GFFFestival teams up with Montreal’s legendary @FantasiaFest. URUGUAY PREMIERE TONIGHT 🇺🇾 Catch our free of charge screening inside Mandragora Casa Cultural tonight on May 8th at 21:00 as part of the 16th Montevideo Fantastico! The Montevideo based genre film festival has been focusing on independent productions that get little distribution or never reach cinemas since its 1st edition in 2005. The festival organises screenings in various venues across the city and due to the high volume of quality submissions and audience demand this year, it has extended its programming until June 28th instead of its original May 16th date which is bonkers. 😵‍💫 Fun trivia: Because the festival accepts projects under 100 minutes, Sander Maran made sure the tighter edit would fit the bill. Hence the 99-minute version will be screened. 😁 #horrorcomedy #maranibros #montevideofantastico #mandragoracasacultural #uruguaypremiere

Thanks to Chainsaws winning the Golden Ganja award at the Amazing Stoner Movie Fest we got some more great screening times in Bangkok this week @CinemaoasisTh 🔥📽️🍿 More info at cinemaoasis.com

🏆☘️ GOLDEN GANJA AWARD @CinemaoasisTh ☘️🏆 🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊 🎊🎊🎊🎊 Chainsaws Were Singing has won the main prize (Golden Ganja and $1000 prize money) at the 5th Amazing Stoner Movie Fest that took place in November 20-25 at Cinema Oasis in Bangkok, Thailand. Cinema Oasis: “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre has spawned many exotic offspring, but this has got to be one of the best, plus it's a musical. The shift from dialogue to verse to song is faultlessly done. The humour is black, brutal and disgusting; the 2 shitty cops are priceless. The lingering question: to a cannibal, does hippie meat really taste of weed?” As we were not present during the festivities the award was received on our behalf by Brian Bennet aka the founding director of Bangkok Film Festival. Our deepest gratitude to the people of Amazing Stoner Movie Fest and Cinema Oasis for screening our movie in such great time slots for such a great film festival! Thank you all the people involved in voting for us! Cheers to the audience who came to experience the madness on the big screen! Much love! 🫶🏻 #ChainsawsWereSinging #maranibros #filmfestival #AmazingStonerMovieFest #5thAmazingStonerMovieFest #AmazingStonerMovieFest2025 #win #award #FestivalWinner #GoldenGanja #GoldenGanja2025 #CinemaOasis #Bangkok
