Yang Yang parece sempre ter tido acesso a outras iterações, anteriores e próximas. aquele trailer, mostra que em outra iteração ela conseguiu sentir que faltava o Rover, mesmo o encontro sendo em uma futura iteração, o link entre os dois é complexo, e o tempo vai explicar melhor
Half of the community watched this and said they ignored it because the connection between Rover and Yangyang felt like it came out of nowhere.
Let me help you understand this.
The First Instance can control time, which means she has knowledge of the past, the future, and what is going to happen to Rover. So why did they specifically choose Yangyang to be part of the first cutscene we see when we meet her? To show that Yangyang's encounter changed the course of Rover's journey in a way that allowed them to overcome obstacles they couldn't overcome in their previous timelines.
The First Instance already knew how things were supposed to end, yet for the first time in billions of years, she encountered something she couldn't predict. An encounter that changed the entire course of Rover's history.
And just like how Rover's journey began, Yangyang's journey is about to begin as well. Where will it lead? We don't know yet, and that's what makes it interesting.

It is very unfortunate tbh. I love the female characters a lot like genuinely but we need more male representation in the game. Jingran had such an interesting concept with the Nethermancy stuff but they barely explored him or his backstory in the quest

I think Rover should really have a permanent companion character in the journey wherever the story goes. It would solve many problems people are having in the storyline.
