I imagine there are a ton of situations on this site where two people both want to be mutuals with each other but neither of them want to be the one who follows first so they never become the moots they were meant to be.
With my Growlanser V replay finished,
I can say that even though I liked this game the first time, I enjoyed it even more this time around. What makes this game stand out from the others is the dull colors to fit the setting of a dying world where everyone fights for scraps.
I’d say this game has one of the weaker casts of the series, but there are a few stand out characters that I really liked. Most of the antagonists aren’t evil and fight you and amongst themselves with the goal of liberating their own countries.
My account and posts have become a lot more focused on Growlanser lately. I think I want to keep it that way for the forseeable future.
I’ve met a few people who hate the vns they’re reading or the games they’re playing but force themselves through them just so they can livetweet them for likes. I’ve always found validation-seeking behavior like this pretty repulsive.
Suikoden 2 is the game that’s most often described as the best and most emotion inducing game of the series, but for me this description better fits Suikoden 1. I’ll always remember the specific line that punched me in the gut and got me to cry when I first played it as a kid.

getting 3 likes from your most loyal oomfs on a niche post that actually talks about your own interests is one of the best feelings in the world
One like on a flop tweet that you care about is worth more than a thousand likes on a throwaway hit tweet.
In Growlanser V, your fairy will periodically change her outfit depending on her mood, stats, and your location. Here are some of my favorite outfits of hers.
I know I’m a pervert who says a lot of deranged things about anime women, but I sincerely want to hold Fanille like this forever and cherish every single moment I’d have with her. She stirs a very deep maelstrom of emotions inside of me. I love this game.
