Never assume revenue is the same as cash. Revenue is what someone owes you. Cash is what's actually sitting in your bank account.

Nine months at 100 hours a week bought me a year of almost nothing. I was 17 or 18. Three jobs, a new business, videos at double speed, less sleep to fit in more work. Then my body forced me to stay indoors for three months. It took about a year before I could produce real work again. I thought the crash was the problem. It wasn’t. The crash was the bill for the peak. Even at seven figures I kept going up and down. A big month in July 2017, next to nothing in October. Same person, same business, same knowledge. What finally broke the cycle was to stop making the highs higher. Narrow the wave, raise the tide. Work at a pace you can hold for years. Make your worst week better. Let the average climb. The video goes much deeper than this: Battery Theory, how to set a floor so one bad day doesn’t become a bad month, and how I plan my year, week and day. As your time becomes more valuable, it stops making sense to do low leverage tasks yourself when someone else can do them for a fraction of the cost.

I took three months off after my first $10,000 month. I came back to no clients and no business. Before that I was cold calling up to 500 businesses every single day. If they said no I called them again the next day. That one action took my agency to $100,000 a month. Then I stopped. I went interrailing around Europe with my sister. It was a great trip. But I had to go through the entire process of starting the business again from scratch. That’s when I learned that money is about momentum. Getting the first spark is the hard part. Once it’s lit you have to keep feeding it. If you’re not moving forward you’re falling behind because the world never stops moving. If I had kept my foot on the gas I could have gone from $10,000 to 20 then 30 then 40 a month way faster. That’s one of 5 things that will make you wealthy that I wish I knew when I was broke. The video covers the other four including why you should stop talking about what you’re going to do and how much harder you can actually work. Watch the full video here: youtu.be/1fKR8vk4HbY Don’t take your foot off the gas.

We don't really make money. We take it. To make money, you have to extract it from a market, and you can't take something without giving something back in return.

We're hiring a Sales Manager for our outbound sales division! To be clear, this is an outbound sales team, not a setting team. The reps on this team sell, around the clock, every day of the week, across every time zone we operate in. The division is already built. We have a proven process, a clear playbook and a team in place. What it needs is an owner. Someone who runs it end to end, protects the standards that make it work, and keeps lifting performance as we scale. What you'd own: → Coverage. Keeping the team fully staffed across every time zone, forecasting headcount as lead volume grows, and holding speed to lead at roughly two minutes for every opt-in. → Performance. Owning the team's KPIs (dials, activity, output, units sold), coaching reps one on one and as a group, and managing underperformance directly. → Daily rhythm. Hosting daily office hours and training calls, and posting leaderboards so targets and results are visible to everyone. → Culture. Driving the energy and motivation across a fully remote team. We're hiring for the person, not the resume. On day one you need a strong track record in sales, whether you've led a team or performed at the top as a rep. People need to follow you, and you need to communicate clearly, give direct feedback that changes behaviour, take full ownership, and be comfortable managing by the numbers. Our process, scripts, offers and tools, you'll learn here. If you've run a smaller team, or you're a proven seller ready for your first leadership role, we'll happily look at you too. On-target earnings are $10,000 a month, made up of base salary plus a monthly performance bonus tied to the division's results. The stronger the division performs, the more you earn. It's fully remote, and we promote from within. Whoever owns this division and drives it forward puts themselves first in line for bigger roles as we grow. How many hours a week does it take to build an agency to 10K a month when you already work full-time? Braden asked me that on the Q&A at my masterclass last Tuesday, and he paints for a living, full-time. Join me live on Tuesday and ask me about your own week: start.imperiumacquisition.co… Tuesday 27 October, 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 4 PM UK I wasn't going to sit there and tell him it takes one hour a week. The answer is as many hours as you like, and the more of them you put in, the sooner you're at 10K a month. One or two hours a day does it. So does one full Sunday a week, because the actions that land clients are cause and effect, and the hours decide how long it takes. Yesterday was a Sunday, and even one of those a week was enough for me to tell Braden he'd make it. I know hours around a job work because I built my first agency to 10K a month while working a 9 to 5. On my lunch break I drove the Corsa to a lay-by five minutes from work and did an hour of my own outreach from the laptop. It was hard going, and it was entirely possible. Thing is, the AI makes the same hours go a lot further than mine went in that lay-by. Tuesday is where I walk you through what those hours go on. → How I'd go after a first client from scratch, with the AI doing the heavy lifting. → The AI choosing which businesses are worth approaching, then writing each message and chasing the follow-up, so none of it is done by hand. → A live Q&A at the end, where you put your own version of Braden's question to me and hear the answer there and then. Bring the hours you've actually got, and I'll show you what they build. Put your hours in front of me on Tuesday: start.imperiumacquisition.co… Charlie

My video on quitting short-form content has 1.9 million views. Last night, Instagram still got me for 10 minutes. I'd just finished a 12-hour day of deep work. No notifications. No checking my phone. Then a 2.5-hour movie. At midnight, I downloaded Instagram just to see how a post had performed. The first thing that popped up was a reel. Then another. "Just three more minutes." Then I caught myself. I've built my entire life around avoiding this, and here I was justifying it. Try this: name 10 reels you watched last week. You probably can't. But you can name a movie you watched years ago. The characters, the ending, how it made you feel. Short-form content is too short for your brain to store. You're spending hours of your life and keeping none of it. In the full video, I break down why scrolling feeds every other addiction you have, and why it quietly kills your motivation to build anything. Watch it here: youtu.be/2WFrd66rXQE

It took me 64 sales calls to sign my first client. And an average of 300 cold calls to get just one of those calls. I was 18. No money, no audience, no team, no connections. Just a laptop, a Wi-Fi connection and a lot of rejection. Most of the people I called told me no. I hated my life for six months straight. Then one gym owner wired me £1,000, and I went from 0 to $10K a month. Here’s what I learned: you don’t need to master your emotions or “compartmentalise” the pain. You just need to learn how to keep going, no matter how you feel. Pick the one thing you know you need to do every day. Define the plan. Make adherence to that plan the only condition of your success. I broke down the full story in this video, including the exact daily routine I ran for those six months: youtu.be/PWxF7MH5y_c

Most people are ambitious, but their work ethic doesn't match their goals. In this video, I break down how I've built the ability to work long hours consistently, stay focused, and push through the resistance that stops most people from making progress. I'll explain why you need to build your work ethic like a muscle, why rest is just as important as hard work, and why focusing on becoming a hard worker is more powerful than chasing money, status, or material things. The biggest lesson is simple. If you want to make progress as quickly as possible, find the thing you're resisting the most and do it. That's usually where the biggest opportunity for growth is hiding. If you're ready to start your own business but don't know where to begin, I've also put together a completely free, step by step course showing you how to start an AI marketing agency. Imagine starting 2027 already making $10K/mo... Three clients, nine grand a month. One business paying you 3K a month. Then a second. Then a third. Nine grand a month from three clients, and none of them care that you started last month. In two days I'm live, and the whole of it is on screen, from the first conversation to the third invoice. Grab your seat here: start.imperiumacquisition.co… On Zoom, about 90 minutes, no charge. Tuesday 13 October - 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM UK → The three walls that stopped me at 18. Learn everything, do everything, hire everyone. Not one of them is standing, and I'll show you what knocked each one down. → How a package that took me weeks to build is built in minutes, and the one result it has to put in front of a business owner before they pay for it. → Why cold email, DMs or the dialler isn't your decision to make, and what decides it, based on who you're selling to. → The follow-up that goes out while you're asleep, written for each lead, so the ones who went quiet come back. → Why a client who sees two dollars back for every one they give you never stops paying, and what that does to month six. → How long working it out alone takes. I'll put the timeline on screen. It's longer than you think. It's live. Bring the question that's been sat in your head, I answer them at the end. Grab your seat for Tuesday: start.imperiumacquisition.co… Charlie
