Enough is enough. We mapped Bengaluru traffic to prove it is a huge civic and health risk that is taking lives and costing us lakhs just to exist here. Some extremely sad data we found: i) In a heart attack every 30 minutes of delay before treatment raises the risk of dying within a year by 7.5%. At 6 pm traffic here can add 25 minutes to an ambulance ride. ii) Bengaluru has the most deaths from civic negligence in India. In August a 32 year old woman was killed when the bike she was on swerved around a pothole. iii) Rush hour takes about a month of working hours from a commuter every year, like an 8% pay cut. Living near the tech parks to avoid it costs ₹1.6 to ₹2.4 lakh more a year in rent. iv) You have access to only 3 out of 10 essential public facilities (schools, hospitals, toilets etc) at 6pm within a 30 minute vicinity. v) The ORR carries more than double the traffic it can handle. Last year a company said it would leave Bellandur over 1.5 hour commutes and another state invited it within a day. vi) The ORR bus lane cut bus trips by about 20 minutes. It was removed in 2022 for metro work and still is not back. This is intolerable for a city that drives so much of India's economy. We cannot let India's Silicon Valley stall. My team has put the most immediate fixes that will help solve this + how delayed/pushed they have been. Tag the people who can fix it: Traffic police or Namma Metro or GBA or the CM's office and let us all be honest and tell us what 6 pm has cost you. #Bengaluru #BengaluruTraffic

Aravind, I’ll start by saying I am a huge fan of your work. As I said, at times I am amused by how you connect the dots and information so well to lay out the possibilities and probabilities. I didn’t expect a response from you, and I am humbled. Here is what I agree with you on, and where I have a slightly different view. I agree that India should aim higher than copying China’s political model. I also agree that a country can excel on some measures and fail badly on others. But this doesn’t make the gap a psyop. China’s economy is nearly 5 times as large as the Indian economy in nominal dollars. It has about 48,000 km of operating high-speed rail, while India has yet to launch its first bullet-train service. Their exports continue to dominate, and the reason seems to be the foundation - the factories, supply chains and infrastructure that can handle the scale. A lot of fellow founders (can't take the names) and CEOs with established companies in India that I know also import from raw materials to finished products from China. Not that they haven’t tried building in India they have burnt their hands doing so. :( Calling China “hollow” does not answer the numbers on the exports they do. Every country that I have travelled to had Chinese products in their showrooms, from electronics to clothing. China has debt, demographic problems, restrictions on freedom and dependencies in advanced chips, we should say that clearly. But Taiwan’s semiconductors, Singapore’s living standards or America’s frontier research do not somehow cancel China’s lead in industrial capacity and infrastructure. Finally, the near-ahead or far-ahead depends on the measure - we can settle on saying ahead. I will end with this, sir. The 2040s claim also seems shifting the goalpost. Matching what China has today in 15 or 20 years is not the same as catching up with where China will be then. India can absolutely close the gap without dictatorship and without fatalism. But we do that by building the right foundations, and today. Not by treating every uncomfortable comparison as psychological warfare. Just my 2 cents, as a traveller to 16 countries, but also as a person who chose to stay and live in India. We (India) are progressing, and we will continue to progress, but we shouldn’t be shy to call a spade a spade.
You will be amused again in 2030s, how I got things right, as it is revealed due to certain geopolitical events how this country that's "far ahead" was so weak and hollow all along putting up a great show. So, I am saying this again say with certainty: China is not "far ahead." China is definitely ahead of India, which I have acknowledged in the post itself. A democratic country like the US can definitely be called "far ahead" of India now. But, somehow, that's never a discourse in India. Thinking Indians must ask themselves why is that so? Why China is always in the discourse. The answer is psyops. In fact, I would say even smaller countries like Taiwan, Singapore, Korea (all three were worse than India in 1960s) and many in Europe can be called as far-ahead of India. Not China. The level of human development and technological prowess these far-ahead countries have are unmatched by China. India must aspire to catch up with the US, EU, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore - not China. The feeling of "China is far-ahead", "India cannot catch up with China" is a disillusionment psyop that so many Indians have fallen for. People can never agree they are being influenced. But I hope they are able to see differently and be more positive. The China in people's minds and the ground reality of China in terms of human development and actual technological capability (without relying on the US/Taiwan/hacking/stealing) has a huge mismatch. I'm saying this with conviction: At just current rate of development and growth, given India has stable governance and can fend of sabotages successfully, India will match what China is now by 2040s - that's just in a decade+. And India will start surpassing China by 2050s. China, in fact, knows this and realizes this as a threat. It is doing everything at the earnest to hit India, sabotage India's growth, and break India. But sadly Indians don't realize this because of clever psyops, politics based thinking, and some kind of imposter syndrome as a culture.

More than 2 years of zero returns, in fact negative returns as Nifty is down by 13% from ATHs, and valuations are no longer expensive. The market is again offering you a great opportunity to accumulate good businesses and mutual funds. Yes, this seems and feels like a bottomless pit right now. And there are huge clouds of uncertainty around India's growth story, macros, currency, lack of innovation, etc etc. But only those who show courage during such times and buy the right things will enjoy huge alpha at the other end. The basic quality to make money in the stock market is to be an optimist, that India and the world will be a better place tomorrow!

A small, but significant victory! Similarly, small but significant change in @Tejasvi_Surya stance as MP! As your voter, its good to see you play on the front foot! Bengaluru South stands with you, always.
The public spoke, and the government listened. This is how democracy should function. I thank every citizen who turned up at Lalbagh, under the leadership of 91-year-old Yellappa Reddy Sir, to oppose the 5% park diversion law. I also commend the Chief Minister for respecting public opinion and deciding to withdraw this draconian law. But the fight is not over. Until the disastrous Tunnel Road project is officially dropped, neither Lalbagh nor the ancient Peninsular Gneiss Rock is safe. Today, I argued before the Hon’ble High Court opposing the Tunnel Road project. The Court has directed the Geological Survey of India to place its report before it and fixed the next hearing for September 10. The government has also amended the Karnataka Tank Conservation Act, reducing the lake buffer zone from 30 metres to just 3 metres to facilitate the Short Tunnel project at Hebbal Lake. This amendment too must be withdrawn. Our fight to protect Bengaluru’s lakes, parks and green spaces, and for the sustainable development of our city, will continue. Thank you, Bengaluru, for standing up for your city.

CAS is not just affecting option traders. It is also distorting the closing data used by equity traders, scanners and systematic strategies. 1. False top-gainer and top-loser signals Suppose a stock suddenly rises 2–3% during CAS and closes at an unusually high price. The next morning, it simply returns to the level where it was trading before CAS. A screener will now show it as a “top loser,” even though there is no real weakness in the stock. It is only correcting an artificial closing-price distortion. An intraday system may therefore select a techinically strong stock as a weak stock and take the wrong trade. Paytm, Nykaa and Divis are recent examples. 2. Distorted 52-week-high breakouts A stock may touch a 52-week high during CAS, when an intraday strategy cannot trade that move. The system will still record it as a 52WH. When the stock comes down slightly during trading the next day, It is technically the new 52WH, but the scanner misses it because the 52-week high was technically registered the previous day. A genuine, tradable breakout can therefore be missed because of an untradeable CAS print. OFSS is one such recent example. 3. Incorrect chart and indicator signals Daily candles, moving averages, RSI, momentum indicators and daily or monthly crossovers are all calculated using the closing price. An artificial 2–3% CAS move can change the candle, trigger a false crossover, alter RSI or generate incorrect entry and exit signals. It also creates a serious problem for systematic traders: should they use the official closing price or ignore CAS and use the price before it? CAS is therefore no longer only an option-trading problem. It can corrupt the raw market data used by equity scanners, intraday strategies, technical indicators and backtesting systems. If the official closing price itself cannot be trusted, the entire system built on that price becomes unreliable.

Dear @narendramodi Sir, your so-called bureaucracy is simply not listening to us. I was once a huge supporter of you, but honestly, it feels like our concerns are being ignored. I am ready to debate the SEBI Chairperson publicly and demonstrate, with data and logic, why the current CAS implementation is not suitable for the Indian market at this stage. This is my country too. I voted for you, and I have every right to question policies that affect our markets and economy. Whether there is a hidden agenda or not, lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable. This may be a small group raising the concern today, but the issue is becoming increasingly messy. If the data behind CAS is genuinely robust, publish it and address the concerns transparently. Please intervene. Fix the CAS issue before it creates a bigger problem. The public deserves answers. @SEBI_India @PMOIndia @FinMinIndia @_anujsinghal @abhijeetpushkar @iarjuntandon @AshishGupta325 @unweild @Mitesh_Engr @rajmichaelsfit @ZeeBusiness @sumitkbehal @piyushchaudhry @vishalmehta29 @CommerceGuruu @CNBC_Awaaz @DEBU_NEOGI @dhanesh500 @itjegan @kapildhama @dhirajsinha @TradingBeast_ @schooliyaEngr @FI_InvestIndia @justnottamomma @gurjota @hsvashistha16 @VRtrendfollower @ihimanshuojha1 @IRITA_india @niftywizard @niftyclubz @Nick_khandelwal @KiritSomaiya @PRAFULKULKARN18 @SarangSood @LeverageAlpha_ @Sanju_Lakshya @Justsiva123 @piyushgoriya1 @saketh1998 @Ronak_Unadkat @kirubaakaran @sumitkbehal @sumitj362 @AartiTikka @Trader_souradep @Vijayec2008 @the_avid_trader

#USDINR USD/INR ration chart shows a short term reversal, with INR getting stronger. A likely target of 94 in short term and a medium term target of 88-90 is on the cards here. Good time to be invested in Indian market

And if you want to catch absolute lows, watch volume expansion on daily. Volume explodes, price makes high lows, breaks above 200 dma - buy the first pull back. #Balajianines is a recent example. HVE candle is the alert, pull back to uptrending MAs is the buy trigger.
Relative strength > 80 will show you all the leaders - that is - Top 20% of the names But, if you still want to catch anything from the lows - look for monthly gainers

People are so clueless and stupid in these X Spaces These Traders mostly Option sellers talking in Spaces are all naive Don't you understand when the Arrogant FM Nirmala said Derivatives is not for Retail ?! So all these measures with CAS being latest is Masterstroke according to BJPee Modi Govt Regulator gadha nahi hai, this is the order that has come from the Boss Only solution is for market to get destroyed for it to be reborn No amount of data or intellectual talk to Regulator ever solves these issues, only when the System loses what it cares most about which is Tax revenue from Traders, only then can things change for the System Similarly Govt also wakes up only when they are at risk of losing voters So Regulator will only wake up when they are at risk of losing Tax revenue especially STT which has become a Cash Cow for the Govt
