Your vote matters! Go vote! Look what’s happened to our country because enough democrats didn’t vote in the last presidential election. That’s on us! Start to rectify that error this midterm election cycle!
If you don’t think your vote matters, just look at the facts:
Had Kamala Harris received the additional 6.25 million votes that Joe Biden received in 2020, she very likely could have won the 2024 presidential election. She needed just 229,769 additional votes strategically distributed across Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin to defeat Trump in the Electoral College. That’s less than 4% of those 6.25 million votes.

Charles Kushner, a New Jersey real-estate developer and the father of Trump’s son-in-law Jared, became the U.S. Ambassador to France in 2025. Introducing himself to the French public in a social-media video, he said that he knew “a limited amount about France.” He does not speak French; he has never lived abroad. He served time in federal prison for illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion, and witness tampering. The last crime, a blackmail scheme that involved hiring a prostitute to seduce his sister’s husband, suggests a dubious approach to conflict management. Yet Trump saw fit to hand him one of the most coveted posts in American diplomacy, the seat once held by Thomas Jefferson and by Benjamin Franklin, stewarding the relationship with America’s oldest ally.
Since taking up his post, Kushner has earned a reputation for meddling in domestic French politics at sensitive moments. “I don’t see how he can possibly affect the opinions of the French government by regularly irritating them,” the president of the American Academy of Diplomacy said. Lauren Collins reports on Charles Kushner’s Ambassadorship and a new cohort of MAGA diplomats who are underqualified for their posts and overeager to impress the boss back in Washington: newyorker.com/magazine/2026/…

The Republican Party has a sickness. They're defending and platforming abusers, pedophiles, predators, men with money and power who think the rules don't apply to them.

Annie Andrews on Trump's recent comments regarding her: "If calling me names will lower our gas prices and our grocery prices and keep our rural hospitals open, he can call me all the names that he wants. But that's not going to get the job done. And comments about taking my medical license away from the man who doesn't know how to pronounce 'acetaminophen.' I'm not going to take that seriously."

Trump’s DOJ has charged James Comey AGAIN, this time under the Espionage Act over a 2016 New York Times story. In DOJ’s own words, Comey had staff talk to a reporter to “correct misinformation” in a Reuters article.
They filed the charges on the last day of the 10-year deadline and skipped the grand jury. Comey is already moving to dismiss, arguing the extended deadline only applies to indictments
Comey: "Well, they're back again.
It would almost be funny if it weren't such an appalling abuse of the Department of Justice. One that we cannot become numb to.
Nothing's changed with me. I'm still innocent. I'm still not afraid of these people. And I still believe in the independent federal judiciary.
And I'm still lucky to have an amazing family and an incredible group of lawyers and will stand up in court and fight the latest. And whatever comes after this, the next couple of years are going to be hard for all of us.
It's really important that we stand straight and keep the faith in America."

Trump's DOJ told a judge how to rule. Then it pulled her from court.
Karen Donoso Stevens' allegations, which she's sharing publicly because of her deep concern for the court's integrity, were corroborated by her extensive contemporaneous notes as well as colleagues, family and private attorneys interviewed by WaPo.
They contradict Trump officials' insistence that — as required by law — immigration judges serve as independent arbiters of justice. washingtonpost.com/nation/20…

Pete Hegseth is looking for a career change. The disgraced Secretary of Defense is reportedly pushing Sen. Marsha Blackburn to appoint him to her Tennessee Senate seat if she wins the governor’s race.
Why the sudden exit plan? Hegseth is terrified that Democrats will impeach him once they’re back in power because of his disastrous tenure at the Pentagon. You know what they say: when the walls start closing in, cowards look for the nearest door. So much for that “warrior ethos” he loves to rant about.
