Pizza delivery dudes in the 80’s & 90’s were so goated.
No Google Maps, no cell phone….just an address on a piece of paper and a clock ticking down from 30 min.
These young ppl are impressive!
We get about 7-10 unsolicited inquiries a week from graduated young ppl looking to join our company.
We aren’t advertising or actively seeking to hire rookie brokers, but always open to hire great talent.
Of the 30-40 ppl a month, we usually interview 5 or less and hire 6-8 a year. That group almost always outperforms any other rookie we hire through other methods.
The aggressiveness and confidence of this gen is awesome. They are super capable and AI/ tech savvy.

My 17 yr old daughter is doing a biz internship. The hardest thing she’s had to tackle in a grown up world:
Talking over the phone!!
Been great for her to learn, but teenagers will avoid talking on the phone at all costs.
Teach em early, a great real world skill, few have.

There is a war of survival being fought by independent restaurants in Utah right now.
Sadly, they are losing. Closures of restaurants in the state YTD are at or have exceeded historic levels.
What are the causes:
1. High labor & food costs
2. Rent inflation.
3. Shift and/ or contraction in discretionary spending.
We are witnessing a historic shift in the restaurant industry.
Great momentum in downtown SLC. Love it.
We’re excited to share the next phase of what’s coming to downtown Salt Lake City. The new district will have something for everyone.
It’ll have a new convention center, updated Abravanel Hall, new art museum, transformed Delta Center, Live Nation venue, strong local vibe combined with new iconic brands, hotel, housing, restaurants, and a central pedestrian walkway connecting the whole downtown from City Creek all the way to the new front door of the Delta Center.
