Honoured to share that I have been named a Rising Legal Star in the Energy category by @LawverseM in its 2025 Class.
Grateful for the recognition and the continued opportunity to contribute to the energy sector.

There will be a breakup after which you lose your ability to love. That is when you become an economic unit and your sole purpose is to boost GDP per capita (nominal) till you die.

Guys please fight for the life you want. Drag yourself out of the pits of self-doubt, self sabotage and whatever the devil is whispering in your ear. We are not here for long, empty yourself up. ♥️🌸

One thing I’m particularly interested in is how law is an enabler for capital and innovation. Behind every growing startup is a need for the right legal structures, sound commercial agreements, and a
regulatory framework that supports growth.
I look forward to connecting with founders, VC funds, investors, and other players in Nigeria’s investment ecosystem to exchange ideas, understand their needs, and explore how we at Advocaat Law Practice can support them as they
build, raise capital, and scale. If you’ll be at Moonshot, I’d be glad to connect. Let’s have meaningful conversations and explore opportunities to work together. #Moonshot2026
This post is quite misplaced because the precondition for even bidding in the first place is that Bidders must demonstrate technical and financial capacity.
The invitation for training is actually for regulatory guidance's sake. NUPRC is a regulator and not some academy.
It is from the mundane ordinary things that you get to properly understand Nigeria. Drilling a deep water well costs at least $100m but here is the regulator inviting licence winners to come for a 2 day “training”. Who has $100m to spend (with no guarantee of success) and needs “training” on what to do next?
From this we can infer the kind of people who have been awarded the licences…
