“They realized they had to shutdown Marner” Anyways here’s Marner with time and space serving a deep dish pizza up the middle of the ice then not back checking to give the panthers a 3-0 lead halfway through Game 5 in a series they were leading 2-0.

This is your average TOR fan that has no idea how hockey works. The reason Marner was more productive early in a series than he was late has nothing to do with Marner not being crunch time capable. It had everything to do with the other teams realizing he was the only threat on the ice they had to shut down. They made adjustments, shut Marner down, and nobody else could produce. Your defense, coaching, depth scoring, and goal tending were all fucking awful during those runs and still, for some reason, you all blame the Core 4 that you had for the failure. It's just a complete lack of hockey comprehension at this point. Mutant behavior.

Healthy cheer here at Bell Centre in Montreal for Sidney Crosby when No. 87 was announced as part of starting lineup for the Penguins.

First look at the Toronto Maple Leafs Hometown Remix jersey, featuring a unique leaf vein pattern in the logo and numbers. Thoughts? #Leafs #PassionNeverSleeps #HometownRemix

If I'm Julien BriseBois, the guy I'm targeting in a Kucherov trade is Bobrovsky. I'm getting a proven winner who has brought multiple Cups to the state of Florida. I'm forming an elite goaltending duo. How would I replace Kucherov's playmaking? Easy. I'm buying low on Max Domi

Statement from Pat Brisson, agent for Dylan Larkin, regarding his client deciding not to play while awaiting a trade: “Dylan’s had enough of the situation. We believe he’s been very professional and cooperative through this process.”

Hearing that trade talks have escalated on Larkin. Which doesn't mean it necessarily leads to a trade imminently but things have escalated. Things can still go a few different directions at the moment.

My reaction to last night's result in my hometown: "A vote for Chow was, if nothing else, a vote that didn’t care about what Toronto’s Jewish community has suffered. In the overwhelming majority of cases, I suspect people never even thought about it at all."

Wow, imagine how many of these NHL trades wouldn’t have happened if Canadian fans had been proud of their American players for winning gold instead of being sore losers and driving them out. When Canada beat us in 2010, American fans still cheered for the Canadians on their NHL teams. Says alot
