Had a fantastic morning with a group of Y11's revising RE this morning @AstreaErnulf - the dedication of our scholars is inspiring - some have been in school every day of half term working for those top grades.

Really proud of @AstreaErnulf receiving our first @BritishCouncil International School Award. Early days but we’ve established three school links with Kenya, France and Morocco. Projects started through our elective programme. On to the intermediate award!

Loved greeting our scholars with a Golden Ticket on the gate this morning to kick off our 12 days of Christmas. We are pulling out all the stops to promote amazing attendance right up to the Christmas break. Hoping to see a @MrMCox13 / @1917AndAllThat Jingle Bells duet tomorrow?

Spent a fantastic morning revising with my Y11 RE scholars @AstreaErnulf today. Lots of model answers, quotes and deep thinking. Blown away by the determination of our scholars spending half term in school to get the best grades possible.

Huge queues at the @AstreaErnulf Scholarship Table today! Some great maths work getting stamped. Plus our first complete cards going into the draw. Can’t wait to roll out the KS4 version after half term 👀 #FlashcardFridayiscoming

The view from the back of a packed @researchED1 listening to @tombennett71. Amazing buzz from a room full of educators giving up their Saturday to improve their practice. Lovely to attend with 20 of our dedicated team from @AstreaErnulf & see other familiar faces too!

We’ve had a wonderful results day at @AstreaErnulf. 4+ En/Ma and 5+ En/Ma were both up by 10%, meaning lots more children achieved the grades they needed for next steps. So proud of how hard they have worked and what they’ve achieved. 😃
We want to say a huge congratulations to all former Year 11 students who collected their GCSE results this morning. Your dedication and hard work have truly paid off, and we are immensely proud of your achievements. 🫶 We wish you all the best of luck with the next chapter of your journey and look forward to hearing about your progress and success in the future. A step forward on the stats, but smiling faces are why we do it. Lots more to do, but the dedication of my colleagues and this cohort was genuinely inspirational. Y11 still cracking jokes and asking to be quizzed one more time at 8:45pm is a memory that'll stay with me. Onwards

So proud to be a part of #TeamErnilf today. Our year 11's smashed it, & it was a joy to see their smiles & send them off on the next step of their journey. Our staff have pulled out every stop there is & it's great to see that effort paying off.

It's so lovely when members of the public write to tell us how polite & respectful @AstreaErnulf scholars are! We had a beautiful day measuring coastal erosion with our fab Y10's this week. Thanks to @knowledge_witch & @RobGeog for a great Geography team effort! #teamernulf
How our @AstreaErnulf scholars behave both in and out of school is really important to us. We spend a lot of time on STEPS. Manners matter and it’s so lovely to receive emails to the school from members of the public. This from our geography trip with yr10 led by @CheneyPayne
