Transitioning from Biological Sciences into technology, she grew her skills in Security Operations, threat hunting, incident investigation, and SIEM engineering. Beyond her technical skills , she was a dependable team player and a thoughtful leader. Her dedication led to two cybersecurity internships and a role as a Cybersecurity Instructor, where she was looking forward to sharing her knowledge with others. One of the defining parts of Myra’s journey was her approach to learning. She was never content with simply knowing that something worked; she wanted to understand what was happening beneath the surface, test what she found, and make sense of the bigger picture. The mentorship gave her room to explore that curiosity, turn knowledge into practical capability, and contribute meaningfully to the people and community around her.
